If only...if only they could’ve sustained the fire with which they opened the season. I thought to myself, “Hot Damn” they found the gas pedal.
Im such a gullible schmuck. I SO wanted to believe. I just want to enjoy Texas being GOOD again before I depart this planet...🙏🏻🤞🏻
Uh, how long you figure you got before lift-off?

Tony Fields the fucking grad transfer from Arizona we couldn't get?!
Yeah, we desperately needed LB's and he'd have started immediately. And when he made the choice we looked golden. Don't know how he picked cowshit-U over us. It doesn't add up. ($, maybe?)

High ankle sprains have needed surgery? I’m not a trainer or a doctor but what in tar nation. If I’m missing something here feel free to enlighten me.
Depending on severity. It's worrisome that Herman even mentioned that option with regard to Ingram. May be worse than "just" a garden-variety sprain.

Just like they drew it up.

Can we get an aggy and land thief free thread? If I wanted to know their opinions on our situation, I would go to their forums. I don’t even want to hear sympathetic comments from them. Maybe that’s just me.
If it took a certified copy of one's UT transcript to sign up, we'd lose 95 % of the posters on here. This is T-Shirt Fansville. (But the inductive reasoning and grammar would improve markedly.)

"You'll never be fired for buying Xerox." That was a saying back in the day when companies were being courted by then-new upstarts in the copier business--the Savins, the Canons, etc. They'd come in with extremely competitive pricing trying to get procurement officers to switch from old reliable Xerox and give their copiers a try. About all Xerox had was its reputation, so they downplayed the newcomers' reliability, saying, "If you screw this up, it's your job, baby. Everybody knows Xerox. It's the safe choice. Stay with us."
This is where CDC is right now. Urban is Xerox. Why take a chance on a glitzy newcomer? "You'll never be fired for hiring Urban."

Most books on Vegas Insider have us at - 3.5
This is insane. This is the easiest money in the history of gambling.
My site's been rock-solid at -3.5 since it opened. And, yeah, it looks like a gift from God.

Roschon has seen a drastic decrease in use the last two games. Kid has earned and deserves regular opportunities every game.
Yes, he's earned it. Maybe the drop in carries is the result of injuries. Can't see any other reason.

Is it just me or does it feel like we have more players hitting the portal or threatening to hit the portal than any other team?
Rats . . . sinking ships . . . there's a metaphor in there somewhere.

We can afford Urban but we definitely can’t afford nurses. Too rich for our blood.

It is very Texas centric. Your point is fair. I just think there are less outside forces weighing down the football program there. It’s a smaller department for one, less alumni that care about football, just easier to be sure you could do whatever you thought was necessary.
Fewer, goddammit.

@aggie08, If the phenomenon started in June you might have a defensible position. Alas, that’s when they cranked it up to 11.
People have fucking had it. There is a direct correlation between them jamming the social justice agenda down people’s throats, and a significant downturn in their viewership. They grossly miscalculated what people tune in to watch on ESPN.
Amen, brother.

With such perfect hydration, how can we possibly have soft tissue injuries?

Well, DEFCON-1, we hope.

Guys, guys, the problem is the O-Line. They can't run-block and they can't pass-protect. Without at least a serviceable O-Line, Herman's grind-it-out, eat-the-clock pro spread offense simply won't work.
Now, we'll probably beat Baylor but not cover, so Herman will be here for a little while, at least. If we can't get Urban, Herman'll be here next year while we do a protracted coaching search (and while the recruiting collapse accelerates).

Now we know why all those LSU players opted out. They saw this coming. Hopefully, it gets worse.

I wonder if some of the hesitant fans, and our admin/some BMDs truly understand this fact. It isn't going to get any better under Herman. The time is now.
Get better's ass; it's going to get worse. This is the year we were all pointing to--Roster full of herman-picked 4/5stars, solid senior QB, blo-u in a rebuilding year--everything was "aligned" for us. Now, we're looking at 5-5 and recruiting's absolutely tanking. Oh, yes, don't forget the get-out-of-jail-free transfer portal. Wonder if any of our loyal, committed, EOT-loving student-athletes will look to bail?

Why the fuck would Texas want Fickell or vice versa. His next job should be a mid-tier Big 10 job like Michigan.

I'm out on him though for rolling over and prostrating himself before the blm crowd over his shirt. He proved himself a spineless cuck over that.Did you guys know there's a politics board? I've heard it's great. You should check it out and also move all of this political dumbfuckery to it so the rest of us can enjoy the football board as a break from that shit.
Preach, brother!
