Broaddus was a long time Cowboys scout. may be well-connected. may not be

Hell, I'll say the first and last name.

Brian Broaddus was a long-time Dallas Cowboys (not okie lite/Silo Tech, not Wyoming) scout.

He's part of the daily KLRD-FM 105.3 FM "The Fan" sports talk radio lineup.

And I'm not even from the Metroplex, and I know who he is.

Squid saying Urban left the "Horseshoe at night" got on a plane flew to Austin, then flew back to the "Horseshoe at night (in Columbus where no one ever beats tOSU), he is going to the beach to catch some waves, play a little golf, pray to 6 lb. 8 oz. Baby Jesus that he is making the right decision, he will end up being the Longhorns' coach....Squid said.

It's actually pretty easy, even without an Egyptology class.

He's got a two day head-start on you, which is more than he needs. Meyer's got friends in every town and village from here to the Sudan. He speaks a dozen languages and knows every local custom. He'll blend in, disappear and you'll never see him again. With any luck he's got the Texas job already.

How fun would it be if they were actually flying private jets around the states building an all star staff? I am picturing a movie montage of Urban jumping on a jet and flying around pickup up coaches until the plane is full and landing in Austin. Just need a song that brings the picture together.

So, what you're saying is, Meyerland could put together a..... "dream team?"

Let's hope it doesn't look like this:

That’s why you come here to surly and post anonymously what you know. Shit we are almost to 200 pages in this thread. Then you don’t get the warning from the higher ups on ur white courtesy phone or bat phone in Ketch’s case. Everyone just wants to out scoop the other. When in reality, if you don’t blow your source(s) you might get rewarded later.

    "It's the bat-phone!" lol #SameBatTimeSameBatChannel

    He slept our coach?

It'd be more hilarious if he had fisted Hermarroid, but unlike our story here so far, the fisting always seems to straighten things out, one way or several. lol

Still no recap of fat ketch? I am guessing noting of note then besides grease stained fat fingers and a box of twinkies were involved in the writing of the narrative..

Well, the hutts do control Tatooine.

the owner of that plane is not fucking thermensa to the best of our knowledge, and we have no confirmation of whiskey and mayo disposition, so we're ignoring it for it right now

Maybe it's just moonshine and burgers instead.

The everclear floater was to cover up the god awful brand of tequila. Glad you guys didn’t die from that shit

You were actually serving that "Hombre" (or similar) $1-a-bottle tequila? Whoa!

Current buzz out there is that Elko could be a legit HC candidate this offseason and Muschamp takes the DC gig at ATM. He and Jimbo are friends and aggies have short memories once they're validated by someone choosing to work for them who they'd previously hated.

Notable exception to you young-ins about aggy not forgetting nor forgiving where you coached before is Emory Bellard, who left TEXAS as OC to head coach at aggy, installed the wishbone, and aggy won many games, 1 SWC co-champion, 2 10-win seasons, etc., in almost 7 years, and to this day aggy that remember go all-aggy on him, assume he was a Texas plant to sabotage aggy, and believed this fervently even when they beat Texas! The related insanity of "You're just a Texas trojan-horse sent to sabotage our football program!" pressure in the Brazos bottoms got so bad that Bellard resigned in the middle of his last season there.

If you ever want a good laugh about from whence a lot of this aggy-myopia/-insanity comes from, you should read about it.
