Someone should tweet CDC a totally innocent question about basketball tickets and if he replies today,  look at the tweet location.

    If that how Twitter works.

That feature is relevant IF and only if that feature isn't turned off.

People chill. It was clear Meyer wasnt going to sit down and make a decision until he had an offer in hand, which didnt happen until yesterday. We've been informally contacting people all over the country for months now. That happens at every program when they have a coach on the hot seat.

EXCEPT when The University looks for a head baseball coach.... then ALL the quality candidates across the whole fucking country get huge-ass raises to stay put, and Perrin had to probably BEG the #NotOurStandard David Pierce to come to Texas, and the first thing he does is pull in the fences at The Disch -- The most EPIC FAIL of a college baseball head coaching search I've ever even heard of.

Getting the best college baseball coach is the next issue on the docket for CDC after getting UMPayMe/Meyerland to The Forty Acres.

You have to make Bill Belichick tell you no

Belichick couldn't put out the Cleveland Browns warp-core-powered-dumpster-fire, and Saban couldn't get a MNC at Meatchicken State.

I still wanted Saban despite all the haters among The Exes that called him "too old" NINE years ago (and he's still winning to this day at BamaJelly), but Mack and that unnamed BOR member (that Tom Hicks refused to name) poisoned that water-well.

What. A. Waste. this decade has been!

Fred Akers and David McWilliams still live in Austin along with their extended families as well. A lot of former Longhorns move back to Austin after their NFL careers to start crazy miniscule businesses like making cupcakes. Anything to get back to their favorite town.

The hero off the bench to BEAT Mobilhoma in the 1994 Red River Shootout, and of "Roll Left" fame, QB #5 James Brown, lives here and would regularly call in to Austin's radio sports talk shows to chime in on whatever he felt like opining on.

Exactly. Mayo is for amateurs. And it’s nasty. And if it’s put on mine (which has been done even though i tell people no fucking Mayo) it totally ruins the entire burger. You have to chuck it.
can’t believe we have no spies at the airport and no one has tried hacking into Belmont. We are slipping. COVID has screwed it all up. That and ten years of shitty football. We are off our game.

Yep, for those situations that lack listening & understanding and/or reading comprehension skills, we condiment-haters have to chuck those burgers slathered in who-knows-what, too. lol

La Tapitia on Anderson Mill has some of the best breakfast tacos around.  1.50 with cheese and one is plenty.

You reminded me of the old La Tapatia Restaurant at 1501 E. Sixth St. that I went to so many times as a child and teenager before or after Texas home games.

IIRC, the health inspector shut'em down. I also remember how they had the front desk area plastered with all the counterfeit (and mismatched denominations scotch-taped together) money they'd caught from people paying to them during their long run (in the end was 30 years).

In a city overrun with frou frou options, I'm partial to Dan's breakfast tacos.  They're twice the size as anywhere else and half the price.

Lately craving both Vazquez on Research & Burnet Road, and El Arroyo, of course, for breakfast tacos.

Sound like one hell of a late night in a seedy motel room fuck buddy. But defiantly stay away from horse and rodeo chicks you do run the risk of serious bodily injury with those girls.

    Meatchickin losing 14-0 to Rutgers...

On the ensuing kickoff after going up 14-0, Rutgers tried a ballsy onside kick that should have worked, but touched a Rutgers player before going 10 yards.

Rutgers 17-7 lead over the meatchickin now.

  12. I was at that first OT game of The Red River Shootout in '96. I had to explain to people sitting near me what was going on because they thought the game was a tie and was over.

OT reminds me of football becoming baseball, since each OT session is like a baseball inning.

    Texas lost that game.
