  1. Got mine done a few weeks ago. Score was 1568. That’s not a typo. GP called me at 8am two days later to tell me score and say “might want to start taking a baby aspirin and call x cardiologist ASAP.”

    Anxiety was through the roof.

I had/have zero symptoms and GP recommended this CT scan after a recent physical.

Been on statins for years. Never been one to workout regularly and pretty much eat (ate) ribeyes like tacos.

Found out my paw paw’s (moms dad) body basically manufactured cholesterol.

Just finished my cardio stress test and the cardiologist came in for the last five minutes while I was on treadmill getting heart rate to 175. He watched as tech was doing ultrasound on heart. He said heart looked good with no blockage and strong pump/flow. “See you in a year.”

Major lifestyle changes incoming. Very glad I got this test done.

    Stay healthy Surly.

Wasn't getting any feedback on Affordable Watches, so I thought I'd try here.

I'm replacing the movement in my SKX007. The original 7S26-0020 hasn't kept decent time ever, even after multiple recalibrations. I've picked up a NH36 (and new stem) to go in. Any recs on a place that can do this for me? In Austin.

So I haven't followed this super closely, but am I correct that 100% of his testimony is hearsay? In other words, he is relating what others have told him but has not personally seen the ships or aliens? If so, then it really doesn't matter how credible *he* is. He could 100% believe the things he has been told, but those things may still be untrue because the person he talked to was confused, crazy, combining elements of truth with speculation or exaggeration, etc.

    ---

Edit here: Also, keep in mind that it's been ~80 years since the world superpowers had the opportunity and incentive to put their most top-secret tech on display for the world to see. We don't know what's locked up in research labs. It's entirely possible that this guy talked to someone who knew we had recovered wild and unexplained technology but drew an incorrect conclusion that the tech was extraterrestrial.

    ---

It sounds like they have the wrong guy testifying. Give us the names of the people you talked to, who claim to have first-hand knowledge, and let's get them under oath.

    They’re here. Level 1.

  4. Went to new location in Buda. Wait another few months before you go. Got our order wrong twice and the line wraps right behind the bar stools…so sitting at the bar is like breaking through a defensive line just to sit and again when you get up or move. Some serious tweaks needed.

Headed to Belize at the end of March, 2024 (as long as the world is still standing).  Flying into Belize City.  Probably stay Saturday - Thursday/Friday.

    • We want to relax, yet remain active (see ruins, hike, snorkel, zipline, etc.)
    • San Pedro looks fun, but only if we want to veg-out the entire time.  Too much travel back and forth to mainland.
    • Some friends did San Pedro, and did the back and forth travel, and they said they preferred Hopkins area.

Before I go any further, where should I stay?  It is me and my girlfriend, and two 14 year old girls who are semi-adventurous. It all starts with where to stay, then I'll go from there!

San Pedro is a massive party spot. Golf cart city. It’s fun if you know exactly where you’re going and what to do….roaming around island is sketchy at dusk. Great spot for a guys trip IMO.

    Scuba there is unreal.

I’d focus on Hopkins and check out Placencia…just further south…great area just need to stay/visit the end of the peninsula there.

Aaaaaand now Apple is a 3 Trillion dollar market cap company. A larger market cap than the GDP of France.  3/4 of Germany.

I’m long Apple and have never considered selling any.  Purely psychologically I am now.

Would probably be a mistake.  Conflicted

Don’t sell. I’ve been long AAPL for over 25 years. They have too much cash and will continue to create some of the most innovative products in the world. Wait until they get really serious about health care and transportation.
