  1. OL Jaylen Garth, Port Neches-Groves (2020) — Garth may be another prospect to monitor this weekend. While he really likes Texas A&M, UT has been separating itself as the team to beat over the last month. The staff has been making a hard push with Garth, and like most prospects, he was impressed with the way UT played in the trenches in the Sugar Bowl. Garth was a teammate of Texas signee Roschon Johnson, and the two are extremely close. EJ added this update to his weekend preview and then posted in the comments to read inbetween the lines and out his coffee emoji. Real inconspicuous
  2. Evans, George and McClellan are in for the weekend, Chris Thompson and Ty Jordan are out. Dobrah still a maybe but EJ said he felt good about him making it in.
  3. Having multiple allies at North Shore is never a bad thing.
  4. EJ has Majors and Garth on commitment watch.
  5. This is what I am thinking as well, if so one of you sob’s out there in Houston better to get him a steak dinner. That man is doing the lords work.
  6. Evans and George, riding with a North Shore coach.
  7. Have to think there is a realistic scenario where they could push early and have Parr, Lindberg, Majors and Garth locked up before the summer starts. After that all you have to do is work on Damien George and show Evans what he’s going to run behind.
  8. EJ has these names on the list: Hudson Card QB Hunter Dunn QB Demond Demas WR Jaylen Garth OL Logan Parr OL Jake Majors OL Chad Lindberg OL Josh White LB Chris Thompson S Bryson Washington S
  9. So Parr, Lindberg, Majors all on campus this weekend plus possibly Garth, hopefully Hand is ready to put in some overtime.
  10. Mike Roach has said a few times recently that if Texas pushes for Majors they could lock him down, I hope we can get it done this weekend.
  11. As stated above I think he had a couple bad games against Westlaks and North Shore but both of those teams had great defenses this year. He also had several games where he lit it up, I’m interested to see how he does on the camp scene this spring and summer.
  12. It’s been reported that he’s starting to warm up to the idea, after what he did in the playoffs it’s hard not to see him starting there wherever he ends up.
  13. With the emergence of the grad transfer market I’m not as worried but 4 HS OL in 2 years would definitely be far from ideal, 2020 better be a 4-5 man class.
  14. I hope we take Jackson as a QB/Ath put a RS on him and see what happens but Card definitely isn’t a bad take his Jr stats in 15 games 3543 yards 68% completion 50/4 TD/INT.
  15. Doesn’t sound like it, going to be mostly ‘20 and a few ‘21’s. Looks like the staff is targeting the Jan. 26th and Feb. 2nd weekends for the remaining 2019 guys.
  16. A 2021 OL class of Brockermeyer, Fatheree, Conner and Foster would be incredible.
  17. I’m not expecting him to start but Christian Jones being decent depth isn’t out of the question this coming year.
  18. I know he’s most are still expecting him to be another hear away but Christian Jones could factor into the rotation sooner than expected with another off season under his belt.
  19. Isn’t Stone an early Texas lean at this point?
  20. 2 top 2020 DL and maybe the top 2021 DL in the state all on campus in one weekend, did Giles have an extra cup of coffee or something?
  21. I think 875-900 is the ceiling, mid 4* thread.
  22. I’ll eat the crow if Riley can do it again but there’s a big fucking difference in a 4th year Kyler Murray and a 2nd year Tanner Mordecai or 1st year Spencer Rattler (who I don’t think is enrolling until the summer).
