At the very least, we should have been checking the temps of everybody coming over from the Pacific. That’s negligence. Yeah, people that took meds to keep their fever down could slip through, but these are long flights, and we’ve already seen Americans from the Cruise Ship from Hell developing fevers on their flights home.
Speaking of, another 14 cases on that cruise ship, so it’s over 700 cases now.
Went to Vietnam in 2005 when Avian flu was a thing. When we deplaned for our layover in Seoul, some guy in a uniform grabbed us an stuck a digital thermometer on our necks. Kinda scary.

Haven't gone through the thread in fear of spoilers but the town where Acosta was chilling in the late episode looks beautiful. I loved that part of Mexico
Assuming this was somewhere near Ojinaga. Pablo was killed in a small village Called Santa Elena just across the Rio from Western Big Bend NP. Imagine if you wear camping in the Cottonwood campgrounds and helicopters started landing nearby.

ESPN also showed the 30 for 30 on the game from The Russian point of view last night. Interesting stuff.

SVT Contour. Ford almost got it right with this one. Had some issues and US market did not know what to think of it. Friend had one and it was great fun to drive.

I actually wanted a 90s Taurus SHO briefly. Fuck it was ugly. Still is.
But that Yamaha engine was gorgeous.

spectacular.
Yeah. Thought they were pretty cool.
While in Terlingua you could stop at Taqueria El Milagro and see if Mimi Webb is there. Ask her about her old boyfriend, Pablo.

Trying to figure out where that is. Mimi’s ranch was about 15 miles southwest of Lajitas near San Carlos.

“But what you have is, when that gets painted black, it becomes virtually untouchable during many parts of the season because of the sun hitting it. The black absorbs the heat”

Watched "Behind the Curve" about the flat earth people. Holy shit.
Amazing how that movement took off.

Didn't he own that lodge? He tried a mountain rescue show that was shot there with his family as cast. It lasted 1/2 a season.
Also, early in his career he was Magnum, P.I. before Magnum, P.I.
Yeah I think he may have owned I at that time.

Interesting, Malcom X was a smart man. The Nation of Islam is still believed to be behind the assassination thought correct ?
Seen a couple of the Netflix episodes and they seem to be implying FBI might be more involved. Seems the NOI was heavily infiltrated.

Met him at a ski lodge in Bear Vally CA. In the 90s. He was shitfaced and pretty funny.

Finished first two seasons of “The Sinner”. Originally on USA Network. Based on a Petra Hammesfahr novel and produced by Jessica Biel.
Bill Pullman is the lead and is great. Worth a look.

If you have read any Harlem Corbin you would recognize the style immediately. Great one time reads.
They have another one based on one of his books called “Safe”. About the same quality as “The Stranger”. OK but not near as good as “Happy Valley” or “Broadchurch”.

Demographics. The Ticket isn't hitting the younger demo any longer.
Don’t want to live in a world where the younger demo doesn’t appreciate upper deckers and fart drops.

“But White House aides realized early on that they were unable to stop Trump from ripping up paper after he was done with it and throwing it in the trash or on the floor, according to people familiar with the practice. Instead, they chose to clean it up for him, in order to make sure that the president wasn’t violating the law.”https://www.politico.com/story/2018/06/10/trump-papers-filing-system-635164

Sometimes you get lucky. Saw this kid walking and said “hey”. Snapped his pic when he turned around with a cheap Olympus Stylus 35mm point and shoot.
