  1. Here you are in the txk and no comment on PG whipping ass?

Actually in Frisco but grew up in PG. Went to their first round game and plan on going to the game Friday at The Star. They seem to be rolling pretty good. I know nothing about Greenwood but they seem to be pretty good.

  2. Texas High with many other schools showing a .5 number for attendance. How does that work? (Here comes the jokes)

Not sure what the .5s are. TH was hoping to move down an maybe get a more travel friendly E Texas district. Being in the corner of the state and no big cities nearby is a bitch.

  3. Bummed! Went to my brother’s for Thanksgiving planning to ride Northwoods but it rained the whole time. His house is about 5 minutes from there. We used to ride there before it was legal and it looks like they have done an awesome job with the trails.

I'm thinking about checking out the Star for a game this weekend. What's the story on the Star? What to see/do? Where to park/eat? How do tickets work?

They usually direct parking to the Gaylord lot SE of the stadium or the Cowboys Headquarter parking garage just west of the stadium. Parking should be free.

Eat, drink and shop. Kinda like other developments of this type. Champions Plaza in front of the stadium is pretty cool. They will be having a bunch of Christmassy stuff going on. Not a big Cowboy fan but some have told me they enjoyed the tour. Plenty of places to eat. I've only been to a few but most are OK. My favorite, Jose Andres' Zaytinya closed last week.

    Neighborhood Service-Pretty good

Tupelo Honey-Hit and miss but usually pretty good.

    Mi Cocina-Not that good

The new Crushcraft Thai is supposed to be good. They just open a Wahlburgers but haven't been. Friends have told me Dee Lincoln Prime is good but most of my friends are degenerates and cant be trusted.

  5. You joke, but I was standing on the grassy knoll looking from there to the kill shot, and... well let's not start one of those threads.

For fun times we would discreetly drop shell casings there and watch the tourists reactions when they found them.

  6. Please don't tell Landon Jackson how bad turtle Tom shit the bed

Unfortunately I watched some of that atrocity on my phone.
    42-14 final
PG started pulling starters a couple of minutes into the 4th up 42-7

  7. You should add Texan Jim Hall to that list. He was a partner of Shelby's at his car dealership, and went on to build a series of amazing Chaparrals. His innovations in aerodynamics, ground effects, materials, data acquisition, gearboxes, and more, dramatically changed the way people go racing, right to this day. My son and I got to meet him with his Chaparral 2C at COTA during an WEC race once. Nicest guy, and clearly a genius, but played it all down as a bunch of dumb country boys just playing with cars.

Loved the cars/drivers of that era. Especially the awesome Can Am series cars.
    Lola T 70, McLaren, Chaparral, Porsche 917.
