Family Feud w/ Steve Harvey is great, no guilt here.

I watch "Baggage" reruns on GSN though...different story

hows Family Feud a guilty pleasure? thats a go-to if theres nothing on from 8-10 at night

  2. It was his girlfriend I think and they went joyriding with a guy they met in a bar.  A creepy and tragic story, and a bizarre shag to real-world connection second only to the "txtow is the rock thrower; rock thrower is txtow" connection.
I became friends with him on Facebook after I met him at 2009 MNC...i just happened to be in Dallas at the time for the FCS national championship and the lead story on the Dallas news was of a deadly crash involving someone you just happened to meet less than 2 years prior was so sad and completely unreal.

What All-stars did Philly have before all this? I honestly can't think of one great player they have had since AI. Certainly no one that would get them to the top of the East and compete for a championship.

They are in a better position than they would have been signing free agents and picking in the mid-late draft. That's all the process has done, and they have a bright future because of it.

Outside of Todd Mcculough, I've got nothing.

Purgatory is what were seeing with Detroit. Terrible contracts with Griffin and Reggie Jackson. Drummonds good but not a franchise cornerstone...then you're stuck with draft talents like Kennard, Caldwell pope and Stanley Johnson.

No draft picks+ young player will attract a trade for a disgruntled star either

  4. yeah, that still doesn't make "the process" any less embarrassing.

How's it embarrassing? Being stuck in 13-22 purgatory is the absolute worst scenario to be in?

Fans understand it just like gms. But we don't lose our job if we're paid to tank. The chances of landing a transition talent or signing a marquee free agent if you're in that range are slim.

  5. Anybody else with a 2-year-old that are refusing to nap until well into the afternoon (like after 3pm).  They are getting plenty of outside/park/playground time.  Frustrating, because we can't let them nap too long after 3pm, since they would be headed to bed before 8.
They are sleeping from around 9pm-8am.
We gave up on naps on our 2.5 yr old. If she wants one, she'll crawl up on you And pass out...but if it's anytime after 5pm, it's a 20 min nap.

I just think of it as a way that the kid will go to sleep at night much easier when it matters.
  6. Im definitely doing it after we this next one. My gun is far too dangerous, 3 pregnancies in like 8 attempts. Pull and pray worked but F that amateur hour BS.

Going to try lining it up during March Madness

Sorry, but I'm all in on Jordan.  Tiger had his days in the sun.

Oh c'mon...Tiger in his sunday red in the hunt would make for great sunday television

  8. We just hit the 29 week mark on#2... this pregnancy has been night and day vs #1. No bed rest, no short cervix, Cath, still has gestational diabetes, wife can still go to work. I don't know how people can do bed rest while having toddlers/kids without having a parent or in law there at all time

Reading these second kid stories is terrifying. Plus we plan on building a new home this spring/ summer to accommodate 2 kids better than our current one. Should be a wild 7-10 months!

  9. Not sure where you're staying,, but if you're working and staying in Fridley, you'll be driving everywhere. April in this town is a crapshoot. The weather hasn't been good on the last weekend of April since the Clinton administration, and there's 6 inches of sloppy snow on the ground right now with more coming down.

There's a 5-8 Club on the north side of town (109th and Zane in Champlin) for their Juicy Lucy.

Second the recommendations of 1029, Brits Pub,

A brewery that also has FANTASTIC food is Urban Growler (2325 Endicott St, St. Paul). I don't get why everyone wants to go to Surly. The beer and taprooms are better at Able, Indeed, and Dangerous Man.

Al's Breakfast is the narrowest restaurant in the City of Minneapolis, and is one of the legendary dining establishments of the Big Ten Conference. Open 6 AM-noon. Great pancakes.

I recommend surly because it's shipped up here to different bars in moorhead and it's good. I otherwise don't know squat about the mpls craft beer scene

Wasn't als on campus eats on BTN? Looked good but talk about a hole in the wall
