  1. All these assholes should be placed in stocks, beginning with the Asshole-in-Chief. Inciting a riot indeed.
  2. Based on what I've seen, which is every play of Bama's 12 games this year (and bits of OSU games this year plus all of OSU/Clemson), this has the feel of the Bama/Clemson game in Santa Clara two years ago, i.e., hard punch to Bama's solar plexus running game followed by 2-to-1 outscoring by OSU. As Lou Costello said in the Wolfman movie, "I got a baaaad feelin about 'dis one." Plus, Sark has visions of chaps girls' tight asses, padron tequila and burnt orange orgasms, so there goes his usual clever offensive strategery. Maybe Nick has a whole secret series of plays, or the bone docs put a bionic ankle in Waddle's foot. I'm not goong to bitch, though, unless we get robbed on a game deciding replay or some shit. Football is the winner here.
  3. ND/Bama seemed fairly sportsmanlike, except for that thuggish Saban guy chewing out one of his own players. But hey! Gosh and gee whillikers, that Big Ten ref nailed him with an unsportsmanlike, night? Nothing much to see in Jerry World other than football and Brian Kelly narrowing the gap, like Donald "rounding the corner" on COVID. Those Big Ten refs loved their play clock whistles, didn't they? "Oooooo-kee, fellas, here camms another play, so eye-m gunna blooo this here digickal whistle for five full seconds to annoy every animal organism on the planet." IMHO all this punkiness it goes back to Deion Sanders, et al. celebrating every damn play, e.g., "Imma expend energy I should be conserving by posing in triumph after making a routine tackle or catching a routine pass. Act like you've been there before and get your mind on the next play, dumbass.
  4. Answer: 120,000 Question: What's the over/under on number of times the word "storied" will appear during the next nine days in U.S. media in different articles? So fucking tired of that hackneyed word.
  5. "No Regrets" is fine music and Piaf awesome. Combining those with wobbly Jello and Fuzzy slippers on car tops every. fucking. five. minutes. since football started in September makes me hate all music and everything French, at least until my madness and rage slowly abate. Zut, alors!
  6. State and Main. Pretty good making of a movie in a movie movie, Mamet written, set in an idyllic New England village. Think Far Side "when worlds collide." Wm H Macy as the director, Alec Baldwin as horndog lead actor, Charles Durning as mayor, scads of familiar names and faces, too many to list. All in all, a sweet use of holiday time with a worthy number of amusing lines.
  7. Several different streaming sources; Google cactus points out the way. May the better team win, Joe, with no serious injuries on either side, and the refs let 'em play.
  8. If you happen to see this game upcoming on the channel guide, check out the Lockheed Martin promo at about 8:00 of the 1st Qtr, featuring the L-M CEO. This guy has to be CGI. Guy looks like the sleazy managing partner lawyer asshole in Better Call Saul. Then you notice - nothing is moving but his lips. A future Bond villain right there. Fracasing MSU fucks should be required to clean the anal probe and "receptacle cow" at the semen collection barn all year. Fracasing Tulsa fucks must watch 100 replays of this game, commercials included.
  9. Hypothesize this: In the Swamp, the Florida db stuffs the swing pass on 3rd and long. The db gently places the LSU receiver's shoe on the turf and walks away. Regulation time expires. Florida beats LSU in OT. In the SEc championship game, Bama escapes 52-46. Come Sunday, the Playoff masters compare 10-1 Florida which came within one possession of beating Bama with 10-1 ND utterly shattered by Clemson. Gators are in the playoff, right? I know, I know. If Eleanor Roosevelt was a B-52 . . .
  10. Touche. Guess I should have qualified that. Good climate compared to Chicago, Columbus, State College, Lincoln, Okie City and anywhere in the Mountain West. Nice beaches only an hour from USA campus. May through September you need to lean into the air to walk around outside and keep your A/C repairman on retainer.
  11. Answer: the Flora Bama. Question: When Mike Leach was still at Wazoo, his weekly press conferences were a zen festival having little to do with football. A reporter asked him what was the best party he ever attended. He said when he was at the U.S. Sports Academy near Mobile, he went down to the FloraBama and had the best time ever at bar. He went on to describe the atmosphere, looking out over the Gulf at night, stars in the sky and stars reflected below in the water, as far as you can see. He was wistful and smiled.
  12. If that is intended to be Pahoo (X Brands) from Yancy Derringer at far left, kudos. He was a badass, always kept a double barreled 12-gauge (10 gauge?) under his pancho. You mess with Yancy and here comes the Boom. Twice.
  13. Been hearing about this every Christmas and usualy click past anything smelling of RomCom but am a big Bill Nighy fan mostly because of Pirate Radio. Got it cued up on the DVR box for watching this week. Already had a quick peek. Love the spontaneous "All You Need Is Love" at someone's wedding. Wpuld like to "jam" with the lady backup vocalists in the opening studio scene. Actually saw the Troggs in person circa 1970. Not bad atall.
  14. Rich recruiting ground. Brand new, if somewhat dinky, stadium. Good climate (ceptin the occasional hurricane), low cost of living. I hope Major has success and enjoys living down in Lower Alabama.
  15. Watching Dan Mulllen and his OC toy with what I had believed was an improved Bama defense, I kept shaking my head that Florida was one flying shoe away from a certain playoff spot. We shall see, saith the blind man.
  16. KXAN - Report: Russian group suspected of hacking City of Austin network; council members knew since October. What's all this, then? Don't bother font size critique - tried in vain to reduce.
  17. Welcome to the Tommy Tater Town and Mo Kartoon Kongress Kavalcade. Brooks is an accomplished buffoon but Tubs is learning fast. Perhaps Doug Jones will end up AG and balance things somewhat. Allons, Alabamians! Gird yer loins and prepare for the long haul. We can do this.
  18. Proud to be vaccinated again with Thujonelixir - best shit on here since Rose Bowl Pimp Daddy's epic tale. This is the essence of life, a rallying cry for all that is hood and decent and sick and twisted. Thuj needs his own periodical. I want his MS Paint take on everything. Thanks, man.
  19. And on top of everything else, he blindsided the ref, who had maybe 0.7 sec to prepare for the hit. A dozen injury lawyers were prolly following the ref to the ER, and two dozen civil rights lawyers following cabron #88 to his house. Please, God, don't let #88 come to Alabama. Nick will make a special rehab case out of him, along with Jim Harbaugh and who knows who. This looks like bad roid rage.

  21. Snots: Kha . . . uhrk . . . GHWORLP! Eddie: There, he got it up. (mandatory response to coughing jag resolution at the Llama house)
  22. Wherever and whenever just make sure to slip the signage people a few hunnit and get them to spell it "LIEBERRY."
  23. In order to be an affiant you only need an i.d. Whether you can read or comprehend that affidavit is like the plumage of a dead Norwegian Blue; it simply don't enter into it.
  24. He will be quarantined at home. League rule. Tangible objects will be hurled. In other news, Steve Sarkisian and DC Pete Golding are both having outpatient surgery to treat ear infections with an tiny experimental implant. Yesterday the SEC has issued a new rule permitting a live feed of Coach Saban's face on each of the four large TV screens at Bryant Denny Stadium so long as no audio is broadcast on the PA. Bama has added a lip reader as a grad assistant.
  25. First Cow A refreshing, very well done period piece set in Oregon in the nineteenth century. Sedately paced and an exquisite job of creating atmosphere with a cast of mostly unknowns. Lots of candlelit interiors and gurgling river scenes. An unlikely pair of characters drives the plot. Strongly recommend.
