Wrapped up Sprint 2. Got dusty when they featured Julien Alfred.

They literally can’t talk about Texas. At all.
Either we’re having just a boring season. Or they just can’t find anything funny to say.
oh and is South Carolina girl new?
They could have shown Texas asleep and smiling on the train for an instance.

They are hoping in one hand and shitting in the other to see which one fills up first. Band needs to be really careful this weekend.

This game encapsulated exactly who we are. The only team that is going to beat us is us.

Lulz
It kills me every time I see a game that we are playing in and the opposing fans are throwing the 'Horns Down' and then at some point they are belting out this song. In this case, 'What a bunch of maroons!' (No offense Austin High grads.)

I watched the Sark presser from yesterday. He is preaching that this game is the biggest game of the year.

Anybody know what our record is at night at Gomer Pyle field? What about when both teams are ranked? I know we have the better record in general at Gooberville.

Wembenyama doesn’t catch that.

There were short films produced in the 1920s and '30s, like Bessie Smith's immortal take on St. Louis Blues. Those continued through the '40s and were shown in movie theaters along with the cartoons and newsreels and such. They didn't make a ton of them, but they did make some. In the 1950s, as television rolled out across the country, time blocks weren't like they are now - there were five minute blocks, fifteen minute blocks, half-hour, hour and 90 minute blocks that would contain a wide variety of content, some of it some music act in performance. At the same time, Scopitones were popular, which were jukeboxes that played short movies of performers singing the hits of the day.
In the '50s and '60s those shorts began to be incorporated into full-length movies so you'd have a band doing a few songs or a bunch of bands doing one or two each, and then some teenage hijinks stitching a storyline together - think Beach Movies or Teenage Romance type stuff, and movies that featured a band like The Beatles or Herman's Hermits or whomever. More productions, more popularity and more available tools meant that bands like The Beatles could do short films for songs and variety shows like Ed Sullivan would snap them up and show them, so there was an outlet for the bigger bands to do that.
So no, visual content of music performances and interpretations have been around as long as there has been sound connected to pictures, and Strawberry Fields Forever was not the first time it had been done. The generation of content accelerated as the availability for viewing became more widespread, and once record companies, flush with cash, had the money and the talent and the tools to make these enduring advertisements for a launching channel that would play this content, it exploded. Don't forget that MTV was not an overnight sensation - it started out taking this content, which had been shown on local New York cable and independent channels, to a regional NYC-area audience. It wasn't even a 24-hour channel in the beginning. It took some time for it to grow beyond that area and eventually spread across the country. You may have come across those "I Want My MTV" ads where rockers would say that between commercials and songs - it wasn't picked up by cable systems and it took a couple years to grow into the massive thing it became. There was always content like that out there. Hell I remember watching basically a music video of Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers' - Refugee a couple of years before MTV came out.

wtf is a Ross Fenstermaker?
Let’s just hope he is not a Fensterlicker. -
She was the go to 'Mom' in the late 70's and 80s. Definitely had a thing for her growing up. Sorry to see her go.

I remember watching the early 70s Dirty Harry movies at the drive-in. Boobs, bearded clam, and good old fashioned violence sprinkled with torture is what stood out. One of those movies featured a topless Suzanne Sommers.

One of the Texas papers did an interview with Craig, felt bad. This one play royally fucked him up. Turns out coaches and teammates point to a half dozen other mistakes like Orr dropping a TD pass and the immaculate Jeff Ward missing two FG (had missed only one all year). Curry wasn’t even supposed to be in the game the safety punt team had another guy who actually practiced catching punts. The punt was short and terrible, the deep return man yelled “you you you” and curry tried to catch it. Yeah he never should have, but damn if in retrospect this wasn’t a team loss consistent with the truism if you let your opponent hang around bad shit can happen. Georgia had no business winning that game. And now 40 years later I think I’m going to lay the blame at everyone - probably as much the coaches as the players and certainly not just Mr. Curry. I hope he finds more peace with that moment in his life.
It's like Gideon or Buckner. There was a lot of stuff that happened before that which could have made things turn out different but we only remember the cherry on top of the shit sundae.

come in east until you get to 130, go south on 130 to seguin, connect to I-35, yes I-35 runs right by the stadium, turn south and keep driving.
Or if you happen to be driving from Georgia, hit I45 south in Houston and just keep driving.

From this list... Galaga. But if I'm going to get the most mileage out of my quarter - Zaxxon or Gyruss or 1941.
