    Teaser time

You know what. Fuck it. I'm gonna say it. Herman is a great coach. The whole idea of each game being just another step in the process, as simple as it is, is great coaching and a message that stick with you. It gives players something to work towards every single week regardless of what happened the week prior.

We've seen this team get better 3 weeks in a row. Let's make that 4.

Remember last year when the Borg won a bunch of bowl games?  How about the year before when the lost a bunch?  But does anyone want to remember how Wisconsin's won  the Cotton Bowl?

Only way we can judge Wisky's Cotton Bowl win is to get a comprehensive, 50 year history of Western Michigan's passing efficiency on 3rd and short when facing P5 opponents at or above 50% humidity level in an open air stadium.

You are suuuuch a badass supreme!!  You don't take to computers, you WATCH FOOOBAWWW!!!  You say FUCK a lot!  FUCK FUCK!

I think any person can read my posts and read yours and determine who the salty one is. OU didn't deserve a playoff spot in 2016 over any of the teams that went, so no, not salty at all.

Uh oh guys the Profanity Police showed up. Better tone it down or you might get reported to the FCC.

Texas' uniforms have pretty much remained the same for the last few decades (not a bad thing at all) so let's just point a finger at the oldest version of the more boring jersey.

    Suck it

I'm super surprised.  Yep, those dominating performances in their last two regular season games where they led by a combined 19-12 over 3-9 Sparty and 2-10 Rutgers showed how it was all coming together!

    But narratives though!

So easy for the feeble-minded to look at a team that closed 5-0 against pure wretched garbage and say they improved down the stretch while this other team was worse at the end. After all, they lost their last regular season game!  Of course it was to an 11-1 team, but NARRATIVES ARE EASY.

You sound like a fucking vagina right now. Still salty about missing the playoff that year?

She decided to kill herself. That, she thought, would make everything better. She had spent hours shaking and crying, nauseated, but now she felt something new: relief. “I felt so peaceful all of a sudden,” she says. “It was like this really warm, melting feeling from the top of my head down to my toes. Like, ‘Yes. This is the answer. This is it.’” She would wait, at least a few more hours. She would go to the hospital and go through the rape kit exam. That would be her final gift to her mother. Then she would leave to die.

She wasn’t sure how. “I just knew that I wanted to do it in a way that my kids wouldn’t find my body, because I didn’t want to traumatize them,” she says. “That’s weird, right? Like, I’m gonna kill myself, but I don’t want my kids to be traumatized by finding my body. I know it doesn’t make sense, but that’s how my mind was working.”

Man, you have a different type of butthurt than Penn State football usually creates, but it is significant.

Yep, I did make an error, Penn State did come back from 3 TDs down to beat a Wisky team that beat literally no one else all season after a Week 1 two point win over LSU in Green Bay.

But let's look at those five AMAZING wins that Penn State had that led you to say they got better over the season after luckboxing that win over Ohio State:

62-24 vs Purdue - Purdue finished 3-9 that season, including losses to Cincy 38-20, Maryland 50-7, and Northwestern 45-17.

41-14 vs Iowa - Iowa finished 8-5 that season, including losses at home to North Dakota State and Northwestern, and a 30-3 beatdown by a meh Florida in their bowl.

45-31 at Indiana - Indiana finished 6-7 that season, including a home loss to Wake Forest. Five of their six wins were Ball State, Florida International, Purdue, Maryland, and Rutgers. Penn State trailed this game with 5:00 to go.  Indiana outgained PSU, but had 5 turnovers, including 2 in the last 3 minutes. Improvement as the season goes on, though!

39-0 vs Rutgers - I could just say "lol Rutgers", but Rutgers finished 2-10 with wins over Howard and New Mexico. The other 2 top B1G teams that year beat them 58-0 and 78-0.  Michigan State's only B1G win of the season was over Rutgers 49-0.  This game was 9-0 at the half.

45-12 vs Michigan State - Michigan State finished 3-9 that season, with 2 of those wins being Furman and Rutgers. Nonetheless, Sparty led this game 12-10 at half.

So PSU's last 3 regular season games included trailing a sub-500 Indiana team with 5:00 left in the game, leading a historically woeful 2-10 Rutgers team 9-0 at half, and trailing an awful 3-9 Sparty team 12-10 at half.  Wow, those dominating performances at the end of the season!!

    Maybe watch more games, champ.

Not even reading this bullshit just admit you were wrong and move on

lol ok champ. Maybe next time just watch, and don't construct false narratives about improving at the end of the year just because a team spends the last six weeks of the season playing Minnesota, Indiana, Rutgers and the like.

If they improved so much, why'd they go 0-2 in their last two games? Oh right, because those were the only two decent teams they played after tOSU.

What Penn State team are you talking about you land thieving retard. They beat Wisconsin and then lost their last game of the season.

"lol ok champ" suck my dick an fuck OU

Btw here's the scores of the last 5* games they played that season before the B10CG:

    62-24, 41-14, 45-31 (road against 5-4 IU), 39-0, 45-12

Fuck the purple wizard (jk God don't send me to hell) fuck this stupid bullshit of us losing every damn game there I'm sick of being nervous about it let alone suffering crippling losses (they also beat us at home, too).

So for this weekend fuck this garbage K State team let's roll these motherfuckers by 40 points and get ready to kick the shit out of OU.

Did they get better? Or was that a function of schedule?
Their win over Ohio State was as fluky as it gets (trail 21-7 through 3, outgained 410-270, returned block FG for TD to win by 3).

Then, their final 5 regular season opponents FPI ranks were 99, 30, 67, 113, and 60.  Ending on a 5 game win streak isn't some indicator of a turnaround against those marshmallows.

Then, they rallied from down 28-7 to a good, but not great Wisky team to win the B1G title game.  9 of Wisky's 10 wins that year were against the following FPI teams: 108, 110, 60, 30, 48, 42, 94, 99, 47.

Then, they lost to a good, not great, USC team, though USC really did seem to improve as the year went on.

2016 PSU was ranked #13 in FPI and #19 in team efficiency.  Good, not great.

I don't look at the FPI rankings I just watch the games, champ.

Tell Ohio State to block a motherfucker next time if that was a "fluky" win.

Yeah that’s all fine except the fact that piggy got ass raped by UNT. As lopsided as the score was, it wasn’t even as close as seemed. Piggy is just bad and If A&M doesn’t win big this is a failure in my eyes

    1. UNT is good

If we're talking strictly football, sure. Otherwise, bump them for ISU.

Eh. They have annoying round ball fans for sure.

I still think it's a nice, respectable fanbase that rarely comes across as a bunch of morons.

Well at least Kansas doesn’t seem to have a fan base full of giga-choads and rape defenders.  Too bad we have to count that as a positive in the conference.

Kansas fans are by far my favorite fans in the B12. Rounding out the top 3 would be Osu and WVU (WVU for purely entertainment purposes).

I'm sure K State fans are nice but haven't had the chance of meeting too many. Or ISU.

The rest of em can fuck off.

On a certain October day, I think it would be worth a 15 yard penalty and missing half the next game if a certain dwarf becomes a greasy spot on the Cotton Bowl turf..buried under a flowing blonde mane of course.

Make that happen and all lack of production thus far is forgiven.

You know... we're deep enough to get away with it. Baylor @home after OU.

Not that I'm advocating for any sooners to get rocked so hard they lose a tooth and forget what state they're in. I mean... I would really hate to see any of them get shaken up like that. Or even worse, have their Jersey driven so hard against the ground that they come up looking like it's St. Paddy's day.

It's not what you want, but sometimes shit happens you know?

    Oh yeah. Fuck OU.
