It appears that Nelly Korda is going to win her 5th tournament in a row on the LPGA. And we think Scottie is dominating.

Scottie has gone Arnold Palmer (win), Players (win), Houston open (T2), Masters (win) and is about to win a designated event. That's 4 wins in 5 starts including the most prestigious, 5th most prestigious, and two other top 12-15 tournaments of the year.

That's considerably more impressive than 5 straight non-major LPGA wins - two of which she won in a playoff and one of which was match play.

Jesus. They’re just rolling over and handing it to Scottie at this point.

Yeah can't believe no one else is 18 or 19 under through 63 holes. What a bunch of bums.

The Nephew out for Game 1.  Lulz.

People actually thought the Basketball Gods were going to let this Clippers team make a run.

You have the Clippers curse, Harden, Westbrook and Paul George on the same team.

if the celtics lose more than 1 game in the first two rounds i will be very surprised.  if they don't make the finals this year it's going to be a massive, massive failure on their part.

I think the Cavs could get them once or twice.

They have zero excuse losing any games to Miami.

There comes a point in time where you just have to tell someone they suck. It’s that time

You're going to have to clarify who you're talking about given this team and coaching staff.

Boston on pace to shoot like 95 3s

I think they hit like 25 or 26 against PHO earlier this season.

They are damn, damn good. Is @InkaUtexas our only Celts fan?

TCU starter was up to 100 last week against Tech. True freshman who has battled some injury issues.

Yeah well he wasn't facing Jack O'Dowd against Tech.

Terry that's not how you land recruits. You need to stand back to back and do some gay little country jig in slow motion while Garrison twirls the ball around.

  9. Have we ever played Weah at the back?

Seems like an obvious solution that Gerg wouldn't do for some stupid reason.

What we really need is to clone Antonee.

That said, his shooting is a problem regardless of the improvement. It was eye popping how open the floor was with him out of the lineup. I don’t think it’s going to get fixed unless he totally breaks down that idiotic side spin release and starts over. It’s beyond me that someone who had both parents who played college ball wouldn’t get that fixed like when he was 10 years old.

It's a problem until it isn't. He was .246 on 2.4 attempts last season and was .308 on 3.1 this season. These things aren't typically linear but if he did that again he'd be .370 on 3.8 attempts which is all he will ever need to be from 3. Even if he improved half as much going into year 3 he'd be at .349 and 3.4. We could sure as hell live with that.

He pretty clearly works his ass off - we'll just have to see if he caps out as a Draymond-level, ~35% shooter or if he can turn into a guy that you really can't just leave on the perimeter.

  11. It is a big loss. Calling the guys behind him "servicable" is generous.

Fortunately we should have TA back and in form.

I know about the law, enacted soon after several DAs said they wouldn’t prosecute women who seek out of state abortions. I’m sure that had nothing to do with it though. DAs everywhere have long had a lot of discretion on which cases to prosecute, not sure why that became a problem all of a sudden.

It has nothing to do with abortion rights. He either throws out cases or gives slaps on the wrist to repeat offenders and violent criminals.

    https://cbsaustin.com/news/local/homeless-man-arrested-for-attempted-kidnapping-of-8-year-old-girl-in-se-austin

A homeless man was arrested Sunday after attempting to kidnap an 8-year-old girl at a park in southeast Austin, police said.

Jeffery Alan Harpster, 36, approached a family having a picnic at Pleasant Valley Road near Lady Bird Lake and tried to grab the girl, according to an arrest affidavit. The girl's father intervened and Harpster claimed the girl was his niece and he had a responsibility to take her.

Police said Harpster had approached the family earlier asking for food and left, but returned and focused on the young girl. He allegedly jumped over their picnic food trying to take control of her.

The father told police Harpster became physically violent, swinging his arms, when confronted. Harpster tried to approach another female before being stopped by bystanders.

A search of Harpster's backpack found 0.9 grams of methamphetamine, the affidavit said. This was the second call about Harpster that day, after a report he followed two females to their vehicle and tried to get inside with them.

Harpster was arrested and charged with attempted kidnapping and possession of a controlled substance, both state jail felonies.

We need a vigilante to just start wasting these losers. Barely kidding.

Watched The Watchmen the other day and feels like it's hitting a little close to home these days.

The refs do what they can, for sure.

Jokic is the 2nd coming of Duncan. He's too good for the league to rig anything even if they tried.

Yeah - and I have news for everyone still talking up last season's Lakers team - when you get swept, the series wasn't close.

6, 7, 8. Sochan, Wesley and Branham - you have to give these guys at least 3 full years before making a decision on them. All three have had their bright spots and plenty of horrific moments, but they are each only 20 years old. It's waaaaay too early to give up on any of them. Don't make me go through the list of really young guys who stunk for two years before turning it on in year 3.

Lumping Sochan in with these two is ridiculous. This is all from this season.

Worst-case scenario Jeremy is a rotation player for 10-12 years in the NBA. WORST case. And in one season he took huge strides both from 3 and from the FT line.
