Are you telling me you don't like Carlisle, either?

Better question, is there a coach for a team you follow that you do like?

Where did I say I didn't like Carsisle? Quit reaching. That is a flaw of Carsisle, though. He's too much of a dictator. Especially to young players.. Every coach has a flaw. Rondo didn't work here because he was not allowed to do what he does. You think he just forgot how to play basketball in Dallas and then learned how to play again immediately after leaving.

So many on here get their panties in a wad when you criticize certain coaches. I didn't know Carsisle was above criticism. He's a head coach who has strengths and weaknesses. Spurs fans criticize Pop and he has 5 rings. So yes, I would say he is not above criticism for that failed experiment. Rondo could have acted more professionally, though so he has blame too.

  2. He does suck.....the abilities of his teammates away. He is a great player but has to do so at the expense in others. Players improve when they leave and regress when they play with him. OKC needs a real point guard to ever have a chance with Russ, but will have to be someone who can tell him he looks fat in those pants.
He's a great player but he sucks? You make a lot of sense.

Not at all. Embiid out for who knows how long, inexperienced stars, and we don't know how the 76ers will do with the slower pace of the playoffs.

Agreed. And Spoelstra is not a terrible coach and I trust the Heat a little more. The real test is when the Sixers go on the road in the playoffs. So many I have seen are automatically putting the Sixers into the ECF. They very well may do it but I am always cautious about teams who are made up of no playoff experience. Should be a fun series either way. First year I can remember in a long time where I am more interested in the East 1st round than the West. The West matchups outside of OKC/Utah do nothing for me.

  4. Sloppy game a lot it. Raptors finally break that Game 1 curse. Game changed after that questionable flagrant call in the early 4th.

Lowry and Derozan finally came alive after a shit ass 1st half.

  5. Sure, but it still doesn't take away from the fact that Wentz will probably be one of, if not the best qb in the league for the next 10 years if he can come back from this knee injury as the same guy. He's way too talented for anyone to call him a scrub.

That's a pretty bold prediction for a guy was has not accomplished jack shit. What has he did that Dak hasn't? Well besides have one of the better defenses in the league to rely on. And a really good coaching staff.

  6. And every variation has as fresh version with a different name available at 1/2 To 1/3 the price at Wal-Mart. A "friend" buys a whole bunch of them and puts them in the freezer.. no I'm not kidding and no he's not anyone's wife.
What's the name of the purple box at Walmart?
  7. 0.0000% chance Dez would take a paycut if offered. He is full of shit saying that after the fact when he pretty much said no fucking way leading up to this. Don't change your tune now to try and get the sympathy card.

And this was never about saving money. Well they got money freed up but it went way deeper than that. They had enough of him. If he was still producing like he did in his prime, then they would have probably kept him around. He was doing the same shit back in his productive days but he performed so they kept him around. I advocated to let him walk when he was holding out. But they signed him to that extension because they felt his production outweighed his antics. That isn't the case anymore.

  8. Uhhh Cole is dumb as fuck. Dez didn't say anything at all that got him cut. It was his diminished production over 3 years and his tired antics. Cole needs to worry about actually becoming a viable target. But him and TWill aren't long for this team. They are revamping that position.

I don't see how you can say he's gone full TO. The man got his feelings hurt, and he's always been a vocal guy. TO was a one of a kind type of cancer. Dez is not that. He probably needed to go regardless of whether or not we offered him a pay cut.

Except TO is a HOFer. Dez is far from that. And you underestimate the problem Dez was behind the scenes. Besides gamedays, he was constantly late to shit he needed to be at. His antics on the sideline. If you think TO was a cancer, Dez was every bit as bad with his shit.

He's on with Jane Slater and in a roundabout way said it was the captains and other "Garrett guys" who pushed the move with the Cowboy coaches. The captains stuff because he mentioned "you wear the C on your chest".

Danny on The Ticket said the guys who wore that in 2017 were Dak, Witten, T.Crawford, Bailey, Lee and Scandrick. So there are your "Garrett Guys".

He's such a fucking clown. And that immature, woe is me interview is a big reason why they didn't even want to offer him a paycut to stay here. Many people from the players to the coaches to the front office have had enough of his act. It went well beyond with his diminished skills and production. Saying he knows who are the ones who don't like him and he will send a text letting them know. You were cut by your own doing. Suck it up and move on dumb ass. You are proving the stigma that has been attached to your name for all your career. That you are some egotistical, immature cry baby who only cares about his own stats.

And of course he had to run to social media to get the sympathy from the fans and players to boost his ego.

So glad this clown is finally gone. Good riddance.
