  1. Damn, didn't realize this
  2. I have to disagree. Knicks winning the 2nd round was a big deal for their fanbase and players. Big accomplishment. This isn't Lebron or the Warriors/Lakers/Spurs winning that where it's no biggie and business as usual. I know Brunson went to the WCF with Dallas in 2022 but this time around, he's the focal part of the franchise unlike 2022. And he's doing it in one of the more recognized arenas in all of sports. And I guarantee if the Cowboys ever win the divisional round again, it's going to be a party for players and fans lol. We are generations removed from that franchise being successful. All 4 of these teams left have a new age/era superstar that is getting their 1st ring this year. And going back, we saw Jokic/Giannis/Tatum win their first after many failures. It beats seeing GSW/Cleveland 4 years in a row. Relish in the moment because you never know when you are getting back. I saw so many think Milwaukee/Phoenix/Denver going to be contending consistently after their Finals appearances. Not at all.
  3. This will be the first time in NBA history they will have 7 different champs in a 7 year span. And got me thinking of all the other major sports here, how often that happens? This is about as new blood of a final 4 as I can ever remember in the NBA. Minnesota has 0 NBA Finals appearances in their history. OKC has 0 titles since they relocated, their lone title is by proxy when Seattle won in the 80s. Knicks have 0 titles in over 50 years and their last NBA Finals appearance was 1999 in the strike shortened season. Indiana has 0 titles and their last appearance was the year after the Knicks when the Kobe/Shaq duo got their first ring.
  4. And looks like he misplayed the jump a little. Definitely could have had that one. Furk.
  5. Weren't they down 3-1 with Tatum still in the series? I can't remember exactly when he got hurt. but once he was hurt, yeah they were done. Although to get beat as bad as they did in game 6 was embarrassing with the roster they have. Tatum isn't the only guy on that roster. I did think Boston still could win that series even down 2-0 coming back to NY. And they did look good in game 3 to put a little more pressure on NY and put some doubt in their heads.
