  1. Absolutely. But what is the reason? Did someone at Texas piss off the NCAA or the refs? I had a feeling nothing was going to change when we moved to the SEC. It wasn't just the Big 12 refs, it's now the SEC refs and then the other day was Big10. That's beyond just a coincidence.
  2. Over the last 3-4 years, I have really made it a point to be a lot more conscious about my drinking. And figuring out what drives me to drink and figure out alternatives. I can easily go a month without a drop of alcohol. And as you mentioned, I felt better overall. More energy, better sleep, more focused and in a better mood. I wake up earlier and much more productive. I hated wasting days by drinking too much, going into a fog and getting real tired. Watching tv shows and having no real memory of what I watched. And as I got older, the hangovers are worse and last longer. The brain fog where it feels like you are going through the motions in another reality gets old. Kind of ruins the day. My concentration and awareness is lower. Too many wasted weekends with alcohol. Also much easier since my fiancee rarely drinks. Previous relationships, my significant other were heavier drinkers and we felt we needed to drink at home, bars, etc. Needing alcohol to have a good time.
  3. Hahahahahahaha. Do those inbreds actually watch these games? Texas seemed to be pitted against the refs constantly, especially the no calls that don't show up on the stat sheet. Those are usually more impactful that the actuall called penalties. Did they watch the ASU game? They were allowed to hold on every other play. Georgia was allowed to hold constantly in both of their games against us. Refs were ready to fuck us hard on a bogus PI call in the first Georgia game when we got the pick. It took a French Revolution from the fans to have them make the correct call. aggy tears are awesome.
  4. Poor aggy! They tucked their tail and ran off to the SEC. This became their identity. Any discussions with aggy fans, one of their main bulletpoints was that they play in the SECSECSEC and no way could the Tsips handle this top to bottom tough conference. Even though aggy never even won their division in their 13 seasons there, they touted the SEC pride. Even though every other fanbase sees them as the inbred outcasts they are. No one respects them. They thought they were safe from daddy forever, Once it was announced daddy was coming home, they brushed it off but deep down, I know they were a little nervous. But they truly believed no way Texas could compete this fast. We did in one single season what aggy never could, make the SEC champ game. We also went into Pyle Field and beat them, just like 2011. And what was once touted as a grueling week in week out schedule of the SEC grind, now all of a sudden Texas has a soft schedule. I thought every game was tough in the SEC? Funny how that changes. Texas beat quite a few teams that went onto beat other good SEC teams. Vandy beat Bama. Florida beat Ole Miss. Michigan beat Bama and Ohio St. Arkansas beat Tennessee. OU dominated Bama. See how this works? The grind only applies to other teams but with Texas, it's now a soft schedule. While we didn't win the SEC itself, we came in right away and exerted our place in this hillbilly conference. And are the last ones left in the playoffs. Not one single other SEC team even won a single game. Now, aggy wants no more SEC pride because Texas is apart of it and doing only what they could dream of.
  5. Lmao. Boo fucking hoo. You talked all that trash leading up to the game. Acted like douches during the game. Now crying.
  6. Could they have won? Sure. Would they have? Who knows. Milroe is such a wildcard.
  7. No, they only reason they were in the game was the Texas offense in the 3rd qtr and never staying on the field consistently. He got stuffed on a 4th and goal on a huge play. Quinn threw a gifted pick in the 4th. One of his rushing TDs he was stuffed but his lineman threw him into the endzone illegally. Another TD came because his pass was so terrible, it was easier for the WR to adjust and come back to it than the defender. A great chunk of some other yards came because he was allowed to extend his arm, push off and create separation on a pass right after Quinn's pick. He was an average RB yesterday who took advantage of situations that fell into his lap late in the game when the defense was tired. He wasn't dominating the game and putting the team on his back type game and keeping them in it. Texas' ineptitude on offense kept ASU in the game after it was 14-3 early. Not him.
  8. Also, when the BCS era was around and we'd get an all SEC championship, not going to happen again. Even in the 4 team playoff era, placing 2 SEC teams in there, not going to happen. 50% of the 12 team field won't be SEC. Did the SEC have talent and good teams? Sure. Did they also manipulate the system and in bed with ESPN to make this happen? Absolutely. When every ESPN talking head keeps pushing the "SEC best ever!!" mantra, people start to believe it and parrot it. SEC got the benefit of the doubt no other conference did. NIL and transfer portal is really going to deplete the SEC bullshitn even further. No longer can Saban and these SEC schools just stockpile the best talent, pay them under the table and they are stuck. Guaranteeing years of great results with all this talent at their disposal. Players used to go to Bama, Georgia, LSU to get a shot at a ring and would sit to do it. Not now. These players will transfer at the drop of a dime when they feel that team isn't the right fit or they want playing time. And now NIL is willing them to pay them. I found it funny how many spun it as "The NIL and transfer portal is so bad, it made Saban quit". Nah. Saban knew he no longer had a massive advantage and was not going to be some top ruling team like he was. Those players are now legally paid, not under the table like he was doing.
  9. Put it on the wall!! Whoop!!
  10. So glad the playoffs are here as well as NIL. The SEC is no longer going to be able to manipulate themselves into championship games without earning it and just claiming they are the best conference ever. In years past, none of these teams in the semifinals even make it and we get the usual SEC bias lovefest. Expanding the field is the best thing to happen. Settle this on the field, not by old geezers in a conference ballroom.
  11. BK Melts and Taco Bell chicken tenders. Yummy!!
  12. We do, he just isn't starting.
