I think the line makes sense in terms of Vegas getting money on both sides, which is all they want. Tons of people are very high on OU. Not losing since their loss to us in October. Scoring all these points. Meanwhile Texas had "ho hum" victories to end the season against subpar teams. That is the narrative many outsiders have who bet but don't really follow the teams. And they just saw OU score 59 on WVU on the road. Even being where we are, Texas still is not really respected or taken seriously.

Anyways, this game is going to be fucking weird. Seeing Texas/OU played in December and outside the Cotton Bowl. It isn't right. But thanks Big 12 for this dumb ass setup we have.

Agreed. Will be really weird to have to beat them twice for a conference title, but it sure as hell will be fun doing it.

Roach really does remind me of a smaller Russ Westbrook. Seriously.

Texas is so loaded at guard and Hayes is incredible and will get better.

Duke is going to kill UNC

damn we need to beat Kansas this year.

I thought that Roach was a poor mans Westbrook when he Freshman or Sophomore and showed his quickness and his hops.

He's a cunt who's pissed off virtually everyone in town including other sports hosts, the Indianapolis Motor Speedway historian (who's the everyman Grandfather for the city), and was ridden out of IU pretty dang quick when he was coaching there.  Oh, and he insists that people call him "coach".  He's such a dickbag.

Yeap, wasted 10 minutes listening to him boast about how Urban called him telling him that they’re going to sue McMurphy, before I read on the thread Dakich cancelled the interview.

Walterfootball said LJH "can't run at all"

    WUT

Ya, I was wondering the same thing when I read that. Now that I think about it, I haven't seen him run by people, but "can't run at all" doesn't seem right.

    Quote

Humphrey ... has the short-area quickness and change-of-direction ability of a smaller player, running a 4.14 shuttle at the Dallas The Opening regional in 2015.

Combined with a lack of a 40 time from the Nike event, his height makes his top-end speed a little bit difficult to decipher, but he does have an impressive spin move and shows some physicality as a running back

Bimage is overpowered. He cannot hold up against the run.

Wheeler is slow and passive. In clip 1, he had a huge lane to run through and meet the RB just beyond the LOS, but he is slow shuffling and is content to ride the scrum down the field.

What the hell is he doing on that play? Wow. We’ve gotta have someone who wants to make a tackle there as a backup, captain or no captain.

Sure it wasn't Overshown on a kickoff??  Doubt Williams has played yet...

You’re probably right but I could have sworn I saw a freshman make a tackle at DT in that game.

Just not concerned about the playoffs this year. They'd be tough to make with that Maryland loss and our other close calls, and I don't think we're likely to wind up one of the four best teams in the country in any event. So I'm not going to use making the playoffs as a metric for judging this season. After the last five years, I'd be delighted to finish with double digit wins, including winning a good bowl that's not hosting the playoffs (as opposed to the f**king Texas Bowl), and finish strong in recruiting.

Yea, I’m trying to understand where you’re coming from but can’t.

If the goal is to win titles, let’s see how far away we are from doing that by playing in the playoff, not abstaining from the measuring stick.

There are patsies in Power 5 conferences - Rutgers, Kansas, Indiana, Iowa St (unless 2017 is truly a breakout), Cal, Vandy, maybe Kentucky, Oregon St headed that way...I'm sure I missed some

Uhh, Cal not a patsie. Any team that pulls in as good of talent as Cal is not a patsie.

  9. If we were to say right now LJH gets a minimum of 10 touches a game this year, would you take it? What would you think our record would be with that assumption? Different than not getting him the ball that much? I imagine Herman sees it if he’s saying what he is about LJH. No one else on offense gets that love.
