As soon as they said it was going to be "the most inclusive uniform design process ever" you knew it was going to be an overdesigned, use every idea all at once kind of outcome.

He's solid. A step below the big three, but smart to lock him in now before Texas or OU need to pivot.

Or he said to himself "what am I even doing at this junior college" and got a job
Didn't even wait around until ski season, and I thought chilling in a mountain vacation town was the point.

This guy just committed. These are the three OL commits they have so far. All in-state.

They'll be competitive with Tech in no time at this rate

It always makes me chuckle when we have basketball recruits go to the football stadium/football games.
It gets even weirder when OU puts basketball players on their football jerseys

I imagine a big part of “culture fit” is the portal recruit expressing interest in more than maximizing NIL and also committing to not trying to leverage for more NIL in the future.
Xavier Worthy and Jahdae Barron say hello
However, compared to thr Bear Alexanders of the world, they actually bust their ass in practice.

Kid's felt like an LSU lock all process. Interesting.

This makes me wonder about the perception of prospects in the NIL era. Used to be, a player who transferred from a tier I program like Texas to say, Kansas State or Texas Tech would inevitably face questions as to why they downgraded. Nowadays, a player like Tapp, who presumably was on the right track will be hard distinguish from a player like <insert Aggie transferring out here> to the casual observer.
Tapp was apparently getting tapped up, to use an appropriate soccer term, by other programs and has NIL money waiting for him. Any serious fan or scout will know.
