Fair, but I was mostly pointing out he wasn't a Tyler Johnson-style obvious can't miss stud.

True.  Just the closest thing we had under the prior regime IIRC.  Unfortunately the injury situation kept us from seeing what Herman could do with Conner in the one year he had him.

Mond 4 Heisman talk gone after game 2. Now by the end of game 3 they’re ready to look for replacements.

How can there be a QB battle if Mond declares early after winning the Heisman?

Really tired of our guys leaving early and not living up to the hype. Pretty much the same things we were hearing about Williams a few years ago.

Cosmi had zero hype.  He was a 260 lb low 3-star coming out of HS.  Composite had him #155 in Texas and NR (outside the top 1,000 or so) nationally.  I would LOVE to see what this staff could do with a Connor Williams-type elite OT prototype.  Maybe in a year or two after Tyler Johnson has a chance to RS and develop.

  4. No longer can they say "thank God for Mississippi."  Louisiana just achieved poll position in the poverty grand prix.

Census Bureau data also shows that while the U.S. poverty rate is declining, it’s ticking higher in Louisiana, which now has the highest poverty rate in the nation, according to the two- and three-year averages cited in the report.

The national poverty rate is at its lowest level since 2001, sitting at an average of 12% for 2017-18 two-year period, down from 13.1% the two years prior. In Louisiana, though, poverty increased by 0.4%, rising to a 19.8% average for 2017-2018 when compared to the two years prior.

The Net Present Value of Aggie tears - for this we will use the for the discounted-gash-flow, otherwise known as a forecast for aggie leaky-pussy-syndrome (LPS).

A terminal value is calculated for the end of the forecast period and then discounted back to the present.  We attribute these delicious tears that compose an equal proportion of the total value that contributes to the final spectacle of Jimbo burning down Kyle field and taking a giant shit at midfield after cashing his final contract check.

Just remember that aggy tears are an annuity, if not a perpetuity.

  6. Each year since Herman arrived, one young OL has really stepped up.  In year 1 it was Kerstetter as a true freshman.  With that rotating MASH unit up front, I hate to think how much worse things could have been without his ability to play multiple positions.  In year 2 it was RS freshman Cosmi playing at a high level.  Now in year 3 we are treated to RS freshman Angilau looking really good and an experienced newcomer Braun seriously improving a previously neglected part of his game in pass pro.

Virtually everyone is now redshirting and overall program health is much better.  That should give the 2nd team O-Line a fair amount of live game experience against the weaker teams on the schedule.  We saw a good bit of it against LA Tech.  The backup OL played the 4th Q: Urquidez, Ghirmai, Okafor, Imade and Christian Jones got valuable snaps.  That luxury just wasn't on the menu in years 1 and 2.

I take no position on the cramping thing, and it did not really matter we scored at will in the second half whether it was real or not. Besides even if they were faking well that is just gamesmanship, you do what you can to win.

I am calling you a liar on the fans or that Orgeron mentioned anything a week before the game. Please show me pictures of these fans or quotes from Orgeron before the game about the AC.

It mattered because their OL was ALSO gassed on the 2nd half.  They needed the rest as badly as the DL for LSU.  Watch how often they just fell down and dragged a pass rusher with them, pulled the grab and takedown from behind or went with the full on bear hug.  All signs of immobility combined with fatigue.  The worst was when Coburn had one OL bear hugging him from behind and one from the front.  Looked like Ring Around the Rosie.

I think these are 2 interesting sticking points after the game.

Orgeron mentioned the AC thing the week before the game and said they were bringing fans.  In the post-game, he was asked about it, and said they didn’t have AC, but were prepared and it didn’t affect anything.  Neither he, nor anyone employed or associated with LSU “bitched” about it.  It was presented matter-of-factly before and after the game, and only when asked.

There is no way of knowing if a player is actually cramping or faking.  Speculate as much as you want, especially if it makes you feel better about the outcome, but don’t expect non-Texas fans to take for granted that which can’t be proven.

Don't expect anyone with a brain to believe the statistical odds of over a doezen players cramping on defense, some more than once and none at all on offense.

Orgeron LIED about the LA Tech coaches reaching out to him about the A/C.  The guys on the other side of the supposed conversation confirm that it never happened.  Neutral parties who were present report that the A/C was working.  O's attempt to climb down when his lies were exposed further indicates that he wasn't telling the truth to begin with.

tell me more about how much Burrow sucks...like you did before.

I guess being a bitch just comes naturally for you.  Nice try at dodging the issue and changing the subject.  Just like you did when you got busted quoting me out of context before.  We just expect that kind of BS from you now.

Everyone has got original jokes, I see.

Ok, I'll be back to visit this miserable website in about 11 months.  I trust you all will keep sniffing your own farts while I'm away.

The fact that you can't tell the difference between "jokes" and reality says it all about LSU.

A loss to AR is not a good thing in the bigger picture.  We need Jimbo in CS.  A loss starts the wheels turning on him prematurely.  It's a worthless game they are expected to win during a year they are expected to barely be over .500.  Now next year, with their marshmallow schedule - that would be delicious.

Or not.  Fuck 'em.  Let the tears flow.

If they could afford the buyout I'd want to see Baggins do well enough to keep him in place with his accomplishments.  Since they can't afford it I'd love to see him power dive that sucker into the ground at mach 3 and watch aggy whine and grasp helplessly for straws that aren't there while they're saddled with their contractual albatross an made (even more of) a laughingstock for years.

    And WINNERS.

Both on the field and off -- because LSU definitely won this "PR battle"

    Geaux Tigers.

They're LOSERS in life.  From their backward, corrupt state to that pathetic excuse for a school to their shithead "fans" and lying coach to the losers making death threats against women and children.  Congrats on getting one over on people better than you but of course that's pretty much everyone.

I've never seen anyone whine so much after a fucking win no less. LSU tossing around false accusations after a win to justify their defensive players flopping around all over the fucking place. Come on now. If their players were subjected to scorching hot locker room conditions and were dehydrated why didn't it affect the offensive players who were running tempo and strictly the defensive players? The offensive players weren't dropping to the ground with cramps, ever. Skip Holtz already dispelled LSU's claims as phony, he said he never reached out to anyone in Baton Rogue as the Ogre claimed. Their shit defense allowed a score every second half possession and that's exactly why they were falling to the ground in droves smiling in the process.

Not a shit defense.  Just Fatball(TM) in action.  They very predictably collapsed after 50 plays - which was achieved during the 18 play drive of the 3rd Q.  It's pretty obvious they were scared shitless and knew what was coming.  My nephew's Marine unit had an unofficial motto: We run those sorry punks into the ground then kill them when they're tired.

The fact that they're STILL talking about it says Texas left a big impression on them.  This was the most physical team they're going to see until Bama.  Maybe the most physical they will see all season.

How nice to make up a story where someone calls you, an adult, "well behaved." May as well talk about what a pleasure it was to pat the head of an Aggie who was so courteous to old ladies and the infirm.

Probably used that phrase because "housebroken" doesn't sound as impressive.
