Carter Bryant really likes to play defense. I hope they don’t bury this kid in the G-League this season.
Also, just fucking sign Jones-Garcia already.

Watching the videos with Tre and Bub, Washington might be my new East team. Those two are hilarious. Probably not gonna win a lot of games.

But the Thunder won't spend money!!!!
I don't pretend to know the cap/apron thing but they have some team friendly deals with the supporting cast plus all of the draft picks. Hartenstein is at $30M for two more years but that second year is a team option.
It's crazy that Chet and J Dub were the same draft....
Di you think that will be enough to hire a barber?

You guys this is a really big day for me.
First - I'd like to thank my dad - who bestowed upon me his Spurs fandom.
Second - Brian Wright - who no doubt keeps a tab on all of our bitching here.
@Kermit - who believed in my hate and stuck by my side when other posters may have casted aspersions.
If Keldon finds his way to another team, I might explode Randy Marsh style.

why aren't any of the drafted players seeing playing time?
Nobody cares about California. They’re going to play when they get to Vegas.

Summer League game is on NBA TV. Bryant has a nice shot but isn’t hitting, fouls a lot. Like. A lot.

I’m getting the sense that the Knicks are drifting back to being a poorly run organization. I’m sure we’re all surprised that it’s not Isiah Thomas back as coach.

Steve Kerr in the 03 WCF, Game Six, Fourth Quarter.
Shit, him and Stephen Jackson in the same damn game. But great call. Steve was great in all facets of the game. Horry in game 5. That fucking shithead motherfucker against the Grizzlies. That was an amazing game from someone who has no dick.
All that to say, I will miss Manu. He should have had much more playing time, and when he did play was all hustle. I love players who give absolutely everything on the court. Except Patty. Just kidding. Kind of.

What the actual fuck was Booth doing the last couple of years? That dude must’ve thought he got paid for fighting Malone.
-
I don’t know that I’ve seen a Spur in the zone quite like this since Tim’s first playoff game against Phoenix.

Godspeed, Mamu.

Dude, Denver. Save some for the rest of us. Atlanta, Houston, and Denver are having incredible off-seasons. New Orleans and Milwaukee, not so much. At least they’re world class drinking towns.

We can’t act surprised when the marriage between professional sports and gambling produces scandal. These fucking idiots in charge are seduced by the money gambling provides, the same way that the players are. It’s only going to get worse.

A Freshman who played sparingly isn't going to immediately address that need. No doubt that Bryant has athletic ability, but he's going to develop for 2-3 years before he has any kind of impact on the team. I just don't understand where the Spurs are going. They're young every year the last 5 years. They picked Castle 4th last season and picked up Fox in a trade. They picked another Guard 2nd this season who hasn't displayed much shooting ability. Is Vassell going to be the odd man out at a crowded position and traded off?
I’m pretty sure they’d not do the Fox trade. Falling ass-backwards into the second pick means that dude is not long for the Spurs (Fox). They’ve got a lot of options to improve the team, but one has to wonder how patient Wemby will be.

Hindsight. He wasn't as good as he ended up at the time we traded him.
Also dare to look back one more year. Primo? Yeah great one.
Also they passed on Halliburton to pick vassell. Not great bob.
What is this revisionist history shit? White was a really good player for the Spurs as evidenced by the return they got for him. He became a better three point shooter within their three heavy offense but he didn’t become a better player, he’s the same player he’s always been, a badass. He was surrounded by better talent in Boston, but was too good for the Spurs to do the one thing they needed to do, tank. And it worked, the rare trade where both teams are extremely happy with the return.
Vassell, Keldon, and Sochan all good players who have lived up to their draft picks. Vassell’s crime is that he isn’t Halliburton, and Sochan is still a work in progress. Keldon is playing way above where he was picked. There are a lot of shitty picks the Spurs have made, not sure why you’re crapping on the ones with actual return.

I was going to post about how much I don’t want Horford, but he’s probably going to be a Laker anyway. I suppose he’d be better than whatever the fuck they trotted out there last season. Zach, Charles, and Bismack. Gross.

2? gotta hit on a star first and win the lottery at the right time. i suppose every year you dont draft a star you can just add 3 years to it. lets just say the 5 they drafted wont be more than a role player on most teams/ likely bust so that puts them at a minimum 2030 before they can start being serious. I would've offered SA or Philly a damn good haul for one of the Rutgers kids to at least have hope on landing a star to sell to the fanbase. a BYU guard who's 6'8 and cant shoot isn't going to sell much hope.
Don't take any offense to this but I dont think Spurs fans have any clue how painful a rebuild is if you dont have a generational talent fall into your laps
What’s a painful rebuild?

I think we can all agree, Harrison Ingram flosses his teeth with pubic hair. Just awful.
