If 2-8 of our teams joined the PAC we’d just divide the divisions into east and west. We’d only play teams from the Pacific time zone twice a year. None if we had a 18 to 20-team super conference. And with the two cross-divisional games, one of those would be at home. Wouldn’t be as bad as it sounds for scheduling.

Thats not to say the PAC would be my first choice. It’s workable, though.

I don't know why people think that they would have the Texas / Oklahoma teams playing late games.  The networks would just have them start the West Coast games at 5 or 6 local time.  Better ratings, more ads, more $$$$$.  Why would they start a game so late that the larger fan bases would have trouble watching them?  Do ESPN and Fox and CBS not like money?

And if the Texhoma Four went to the PAC, it would probably result in a system of four team pods.  There would only be two or maybe three games a season in Pacific Time.  And instead of comparing the current PAC to the current Big 12, we need to be comparing the current PAC 12 + OU, UT, OSU, TTU to the current Big 12.

The current Big 12 is pretty strong, but what would a 16 team PAC be if what you added was four big public, football crazy schools?  Especially if two of them are OU and UT?  Would it rival the B1G and SEC?

I’m hoping for more like 25.
Don’t you have to be out of baseball for 7 years?

Whatever it is, soak this up as much as you can.
JV, Tuve, Bregs, Correa...I think we look back in ~2 decades from now and will be even more impressed at the talent that took the field every night in the late-teens in Houston

Just five seasons after retirement from playing and at least ten years in the MLB.

So if Bregman plays until age 38 or 39 and at the same level as he is now or close to it for the next 10 or 11 seasons, 20 years to Cooperstown is about right.  I think it will be more than 20, if he does make it.  His chances are good as he's really, really good at a really young age.

And he's a tribesman, so he would join Greenberg, Koufax, and maybe Braun.  Maybe a Top Ten of all time for any sport.  I'm rooting for him because he's an Astro and because there aren't many we can brag about, you know

Add a rule that they must finish a bottle of whisky during the show.  Hour three will be spectacular.

I don't know that a a fifth would phase The Pirate.  Maybe a handle before 11 AM would get him slurry, but we might not notice the difference

I'm pretty sure that Chris Fowler moving on was his choice, not ESPN's.  And, I must say, I've been pleasantly  surprised with how Davis has worked out.  I was incredibly skeptical at first.  Maybe its just because he's not alongside the asshat twins every night, but he is by no means anywhere close to the biggest problem with Gameday right now.

I always thought they were the same guy.

Like he just for some unexplained reason changed his name mid career and no one made a big fuss about it

Yes, it's fairly new, launched within the past couple of months.  I don't pay for it but supposedly it has some new stuff but it also has a lot of stuff that used to be included with espn3/watchespn.

With the incredible demand for a Rice - PVA&M game, there is sure to be a lot of money to be made sellig the rights. Just another great dcision by the Worldwide Leader

Still can't fucking believe we dominated the whole fucking game then lost to Tech last year. Just like every year, Bonney was going to play a lot for us no matter what the 2 deep says right now. I could understand if he transferred to a decent school but come the fuck on. Fuck this thread, fuck him, and fuck Tech.

Tech had more yards on fewer plays and two fewer turnovers while using a back up QB three quarters of the game

my aggy friends always act surprised why I hate Texas A&M so much...then when I real you off their lies and petty bullshit through the years, it goes into, “ Well, you gotta understand...”

no, fuck you motherfuckers.  You will never change and there’s a reason y’all are the biggest hypocrites on the planet.  Go fucking die  In a fire... I don’t even care if you light it first.

WhyTF is Abbott so chummy with John Sharp?

It's not the current governor that is buddies with Sharp.

It's one that is a former C student Yell Leader, nationally renowned dancer, and that is perfectly coiffed.  He appointed supporters and buddies of his that were connected at least loosely with Tech to the Board of Regents. He is again in a position of authority and is calling in favors for Sharp.  He told Duncan, "Adios, Mofo."

  9. If Meat Judging was CFB, Texas Tech would be Alabama and Texas A&M, would be, well, Texas A&M

Tech has won 7 of the last 10 national championships.
Between us beating that ass on a regular basis on the field, and them not keeping up with sand aggy in the one thing they should dominate, it's no wonder gomer u tucked tail and ran.
