  1. Agree. Zero goals created against Pool, Athletic Club, and now City, and bailed out by the subs in the last two. This should be the last time we ever see a Rice-Zubi-Merino midfield.
  2. Updated. Kirk Cignetti seems to hate that fat grease stain as much as we do.
  3. The moment before Trossard’s flick sent Martinelli away. You’ll notice all 10 outfield Athletic Club players in our half, just begging for a player with pace to burn to run in behind them. Very much unlike the PL, where we often see all 10 of opposition inside their own penalty area. When Arteta looked at the bench on Tuesday, deciding who he should bring on to change up the match, he saw Martinelli, Trossard, Nwaneri, and MLS. And that’s with Saka and Havartz injured. Compare that to the CL semi in Paris last May: the shell or Sterling and two academy kids with combined 0.0 senior team minutes. The difference could not be more stark.
  4. “But I am smart. I am smart man, and I have smart solve.”
  5. He was just as good, if not better, than Gabi XL today.
  6. Have yourselves a match, boys.
  7. Martinelli got his head up on that run, too. Fed it to Trossard in space. Have your self a match, Gabi.
  8. Two-nil to the Arsenal two nil!
  9. TROSSARD!!!!!
  10. Get in there, Gabi!!! So damn happy for him. COME ON YOU GUNNERS!!!
  11. Martinelli!!!!!
  12. I don’t think carnage and an injured Gyökeres was part of Jover’s plan.
  13. Eze and Gyökeres chances… nearl
  14. Norgaard and Rolls Royce on the bench are good signs.
  15. Let’s. Fucking. Go.
  16. Calafiori. Eze’s cross to Gyökeres’ run, followed by a clinical finish…. Damn were we missing that last season. “Well… mate…” Was unsure about his signing and will eat the crow (and will hopefully do so into late May and June.) He was outstanding today. COYG
  17. Daughter’s match was at 8am today. So whatdid I miss?
  18. Saka I’m not as worried about. He’s Hale End, England international playing in one of the top clubs in England. Saliba? Could see him “pulling an Mbaape” and leaving for Madrid in a free. We really need to win a major silverware this season.
  19. The fat Greek (no racist) doesn’t seem like the easiest employer; likely a mutual parting of ways. Rumors of Ange In… That’s a bold strategy, Cotton, if true.
