  1. Just read apparently Arteta has never won a European knockout match at home. Nice time to break that streak. I can see us tearing out of the blocks; need to be careful not to get hit on the break. The first team to score likely wins.
  2. Apparently the ref was given the 2022 CL Final, so it would seem he's no slouch. Hopefully he doesn't fall for the flopping and time-wasting shenanigans like the last one did.
  3. Nothing to see here. -Michael Oliver Mike Dean told us last year: they don’t want to embarrass their mates.
  4. IMHO a city win would have left it entirely in our hands: win out and we’re Champs. As it stands we still need to win out and maintain our GD lead over Pool. Realistically, though, all three will drop points on the run-in. A draw today at least has us infront. I think at the end of the year, we’re going to look back regretfully at dropping five points to Fullham.
  5. Also happy we won so Ramsdale didn’t carry this one around with him. Good kid, a reason why we went from 5th to 2nd last year.
  6. 100%. Three points and onward. On, and WE’RE TOP OF THE LEAGUE, BOYS!!!
  7. Ramsdale making up for it; what a save. If we fail to score and get 3 points, he’ll get a lot of stick. But we’ve wasted plenty of chances, too.
  8. Ramsdale’s not helping his sales price. That nearly went in
  9. Wasted chances, now a HORRIBLE error gifts them level. We’re going to have to dig deep; I’d imagine they will park two bosses to defend their point. That was simply awful from Ramsdale. Is he trying to punish Arteta for benching him?
  10. Worth every cent. What a player, what a difference he has made. Idk… he looked VERY rusty on Monday. Hopefully we get up 3 or 4-nil and Arteta can get him minutes in 2H.
  11. Mildly surprised he picked Jorginho; figured he’d have held him out for Porto, given it’s on Tuesday (of note, they played yesterday; every league helps its clubs RE scheduling around CL except one.)
  12. Liar? No. Serial wife beater, including Max's own mother? Yeah, ok, but he's not a liar. Didn't Jos leave the track at Abu Dhabi 2021 when it looked certain Lewis was going to win? But hey, he's not a liar.
  13. If you have a Trader Joe's in your vicinity, these are a very acceptable alternative.
  14. I'll be on like year four of Dynasty Mode a few days after launch, so this is a minor bummer but by no means a dealbreaker. Maybe among casual sports fans who also like to videogame. Those of us who have nursed older systems along just to keep playing NCAA14? Probably not.
  15. Not to mention the most important point, being there’s no evidence a team run by Ross Brawn could be competitive. Can’t have another back-marker. Next!!!
  16. It's like January 1994 after the Cowboys won their second SB: the RBR versions of Jerrah and Jimmy are going to slaughter their Golden Goose over who has the power, gets the credit, and (allegedly) gets to bang some chick in the office. Oh, and then there's this: Ben Sulayem allegedly tried to get officials to axe the Vegas track prior to the GP. Why, you ask? "It is not clear why Ben Sulayem would wish for FIA officials to refuse to certify the Las Vegas track. The race was a poster event for F1, and commercial rights holders Liberty Media had invested at least £500m in the event in the hope of using it to promote the sport in the US and across the globe. But the backdrop to Las Vegas, the penultimate race of last season, was two years of tension between Liberty Media and the FIA, in which Ben Sulayem on numerous occasions was keen to extract more money from F1 for the FIA." https://www.bbc.com/sport/formula1/68478049
