He's going to wake up one day and not have a cent to his name. Or OD before that happens. Who knows which will come first.
Both events happening simultaneously would be delightful.

Could we also overperform in outdoor T&F next week?
The updated T&F rankings come out tomorrow based on the pre-NCAA qualifying meets held last weekend. I think this guy's scoring is reflective of the rankings from the prior week so we'll see what the rankings look like tomorrow.
Also - do we know if the scoring number for Texas is using points for a runner-up finish in the WCWS or is he using total max points for winning? Hope it's the former.

Besides LSU being the only host team to start 0-1, South Carolina had a lackluster 5-2 win over Elon. That was the extent of close games for top seeds.
13 of the 16 top seeds won by 8 or more. The next closest game was Tech’s 6 run win.
Which makes LSU’s loss even funnier
LSU losing - especially as you noted above - never gets old. In fact it gets better and funnier the longer I live here!

If we are going to hit that projected total, it’s going to be a great spring because that means that golf, softball, baseball, and women’s basketball haven’t underperformed and either won national championships or got to the finals.
I'm hopeful that outdoor T&F performs at a higher level than indoor did - which should help with some additional points.

I’m going to choose to believe the reason Trilly Donovan keeps saying CDC wants Quin Snyder is because whoever is feeding Trilly information is doing it as a diversion.
I’m also going to keep choosing to believe the following is happening or has happened:
- CDC
- Nate Oats
- Raising Cane’s
- Opelousas
That's an hour away from me - I can set up reconnaissance.

my question was - how does belmont feel about it
adding a 2nd question: "from the venue itself" can mean AMB or the Georgia World Congress Authority and i am interested in knowing who is making the decision
"there is no room" is bullshit - the stadium's soccer pitch is 110 x 75 with room to spare
there are 4 tunnels, 2 at each end, and the pen would occupy half of one of the tunnel entrances
they really need all 4 tunnels operative for a football game?
were we offered the opportunity to buy the real estate necessary to retract 20 or 30 seats out of the football configuration to create the space for his pen?
i'm just asking questions
The Arthur Blank Foundation gave $20M to UT in 2020 to establish a stuttering research institute, so the athletic department ought to contact them if they have a real concern about BEVO attending.

The aforementioned Notre Dame transfer picked Texas. We lacked a drop dead sprinter and Chris Guiliano may be the best in the country, making the US Olympic team in the 50, 100 and 200 freestyles this past summer. Texas has gotta be a lock for top 3 at NCAAs now, and has a very good chance at the title. Indiana may be the slight favorite as they have similarly beefed up with transfers and their divers are Olympians, Cal kept their best swimmers around for 5th years and has some strong freshmen coming in, and Florida is deep. Regardless, the accumulation of talent in Bowman's first year is truly remarkable.
Bowman really appears to be a wizard and the real deal so far. I'm really looking forward to the spring season to see how all this translates at the NCAA's!

Have they said how many tickets are being held for the opposing team? I wonder where they'll be located and what season ticket seat areas will be affected.

I've been using pickle vodka lately which I find fantastic. And just recently I tried jalapeno flavored pickle vodka which is pretty banging as well.

Listening to Joffee's post match interview, he said he will ask Zeynalova if she's good to play tomorrow and implied the ball is in her court so to speak. So, at least we know its not the coaches or trainers keeping her off the court.
Is the thought that if she's able to play going forward that we could potentially contend for the NC?

Thank you so much for providing all these updates - it is most appreciated! As an avid general fan, but not an educated fan across all individual sports - this type of insight is super! Thanks and Hook 'em!

And since the old seating chart still shows up in some places, here's the updated 2024 seating chart:
It's interesting that they are putting the visitors in multiple locations - Section 1, 32, 103, 104, 106, 107, 119, 131, and 132. Im going to assume that if schools don't sell out those sections, those will be the "single game" tickets that are available from the school directly.
And I'm looking forward to the monstrous outrage & whining that will occur on SEC Rant when they figure out that big bad Texas has split up the visiting ticket allotment into multiple sections around the stadium.

The Longhorn Band will be conducting a rehearsal in the Baton Rouge area on 12/30 from 4:00 pm - 6:00 pm at Dutchtown High School in Prairieville on their way to the Sugar Bowl.
The high school football stadium is just a couple of minutes south of I-10 on the east side of Baton Rouge. Take the LA HWY 73 exit off of I-10, veer right on to HWY 73 and the HS is on your right maybe 1/2 mile down the road.

Man - isn’t it great to be in the middle of strategizing other teams wins/losses and their effects on our placement in the polls, when it actually means something!
