  1. LSU fan here, lived in Austin for a few years, wanting to give some thoughts on the situation with the other fan bases. The response on SEC Rant to this potential shift has been mixed-to-toxic. The fact of the matter is SECR posters are notoriously dumb as a rule. Most of the time they’re just trying to troll each other and aren’t interested in real discussion. I don’t take them very seriously (even on the Tiger Rant side) and you really shouldn’t either. That said, I think there’s a grain of truth to how they feel about it with how they’re reacting, and it boils down to A&M fans setting up expectations for the worst. I went to the LSU game in Austin rocking my purple and gold, and Texas fans were as nice as could be from start-to-finish, which had generally been my experience with y’all too when I went to Big 12 games watching on the Texas side. Some of the more crybaby fans from A&M (and a few from LSU who had a bad experience in 2019) keep crying about how mean old Texas is arrogant and is trying to gut the conference. They’re just scared of having another National brand to compete with, honestly. I understand the beef with the SEC since ESPN has done their best to market a perversion of the southern school’s camaraderie that formed in 2004 when Auburn got left out in favor of Oklahoma for a shot at USC (camaraderie which has since then died off), but in the end you’ll probably be able to accept it like we do, because it brings recruits and money, even if it’s annoying. And believe me, it annoys a lot of LSU fans - I have seen my share of threads of people wanting to leave the SEC over it and their Alabama little brother syndrome. If this move does happen I look forward to more games in Austin. Texas has a different culture than most of the other schools, but if we can accept Missouri for being the weirdos that they are, we can definitely have fun with Texas in the mix.
  2. I'm going to bring up Alabama's OOC scheduling, but in the opposite direction of what you envisioned. Alabama likes to schedule below their weight class whenever possible. They've had some big name games lately with USC and Florida State, but they're just as likely to schedule Duke and Louisville. Alabama shouldn't get a pass from this criticism just because they win so much in the playoffs. They game the system with the best of them
  3. No doubt it’s the coldest take ever
  4. Thread title really has some new meaning in 2020, doesn’t it? Not real proud of Guice here or LSU’s response to all of this
  5. aggy *would* get pounded by the Cocks
  6. There won't be much to discuss on this game lol Fighting Klansmen lose by 28
  7. Please committee don't let Alabama into the discussion Please don't repeat 2011
  8. I’m not too worried about it, I think we come out with a W tonight
  9. We look like we're having a post-big-game hangover Also that gif of Ed is hilarious omg
  10. We do the Mike eating the logo thing every week against every opponent
  11. I didn't mean to come off like we weren't dominated; you guys beat us at every aspect of the game this weekend. Best of luck the rest of the way too. Hope to play you all again sometime
  12. You guys looked like you wanted to win... It's a complement lol
  13. LSU fan here, congrats on the sweep you guys. You all were the better coached/more motivated team this weekend and deserved to win. We have a lot of work to do. Also your baseball stadium is awesome, I had a great time in there

    LSU @ aggy

Aggy doesn't have to play dumb, they are dumb

    LSU @ aggy

Aggie's official defense for the situation is "Cole was just celebrating when he got sucker punched by Faulk" It was a delusional defense to start with but it gets even better with the pictures showing him clearly taking swings at people
