Quinn has the right kind of pressure behind him to make him better. I think that was missing the last 2 years.
Very few quarterbacks have had more pressure than Ewers the last two years.

Victor just single handedly stopped a 3 on 1 fast break. Don't know if I've ever seen that. Nobody else has that defensive presence. 👽
LOL at the 2 Memphis players playing hot potato not wanting to go at him.
I posted the pic. Funniest shit ever.

Since we now seem to be starting threads of total randomness, here are some random facts that interest me:
- Though most people assume it is private university, William and Mary is a public university
- Frank Sinatra was considered a really good basketball player
- A man once lost his wedding ring in in the ocean off of Australia. Five months later, a snorkeler spotted a wedding ring attached to a fish, and retrieved it. Sure enough, it was the wedding ring and he returned it to the grateful owner.
- There are 293 ways to make change with a dollar
- All clocks in Pulp Fiction are set to 4:20
Is somebody forcing you to read this thread?

they would get crushed by college teams full of grown men with multiple years of college coaching, weight training, film study, etc. indiana state, who just lost the NIT final, would beat this team by 50.
Nah. College teams outside the top 40 are trash for the most part. Indiana State should have been in the top 40 and in the NCAA tourney. Look at a team like Virginia. Putrid offense. Scored 42 points in their NCAA game and a lot of that in junk time. Cooper Flagg could get 25 against Virginia and Montverde wins 54-50.
-
I say yes. They just went 33-0 and won the national championship.
roster:
Cooper Flagg #1 overall recruit in country
Derik Queen #13 overall
Asa Newell #14
Liam McNeeley #16
Rob Wright #25
That is insane talent. I think they could beat any college team outside the top 40.

I’ve only watched highlights of the last few games but it seems like the Spurs are playing better without Vassell and Sochan. I assume that’s because Wemby is taking the lead role. How do the Spurs keep that dynamic when Devin and Sochan return next year? The offseason is fast approaching. How do we build on the late season momentum?

Just take Topic and call it a day.
Does anybody think it would be better for the Raptors pick to roll over to 2025? It’s top 6 protected in 2025 and then becomes 2 2nds if if doesn’t convey in 2025. But is that risk acceptable to get a pick in a better draft? Probably not but man it’s tough to get excited about the 2024 draft.

He didn’t play hardly at all. It’s one thing to come off the bench on a veteran team and I know he’s been dealing with multiple injuries but it’s really peculiar.
Reed Sheppard just told Cody Williams, “hold my beer” and somehow stunk even worse. Not trying to overreact but this draft might STINK.
-
So future lottery pick Cody Williams(Jalen’s little brother) had 0 points 0 assists and 1 rebound in Colorado’s NCAA playin game. Yikes.

Your chart is an argument against your point. If Memphis ends up with a better record than Toronto, the Spurs odds of getting the pick drop from 68% to 63%. It drops even more if the Raptors drop below Portland.

Wemby becomes the 2nd rookie with a 5x5. The other, Jamaal Tinsley Iowa State legend.

No NBA player has ever had more than one quadruple double. And 2 of the 4 NBA players with one were Spurs.

Playing ourselves out of a top 3 pick at this rate, which is how it should have been anyway. Pre season I wanted to bet the over on the win total, but it took longer than I thought for the team to gel and the Sochan experiment didn’t help.
You can have my $500 preseason over bet at a very reasonable rate. 😂

I have no idea what the payroll for our roster is but the only number I’ve ever heard thrown out is 15-17 million/yr…. By Nahlin so tifwiw. Allotting 33% of our entire payroll to one player seems like bad business, unless it’s Vince Young.
3 isn’t 33% of 15. 👍 @Texasborn91

McKinley is a 5 star. How can his stock rise? Isn't that the whole point of rating players?
Do you really not know that there is a ranking amongst the 5 stars?

Starting next year, you’ll start to see a few bowls fall by the wasteside. All of the NY6 will be under the CFP halo. After that the Mayo, Texas, Alamo, Tony the Tiger Sun and Music City Bowls will be the clear elite tier below and they’ll survive. The others will be on life support until the plug is pulled by ESPN.
Is wasteside worse than wayside?

lol. Pressure in the general sense. From the media, Texas fans etc. But maybe you are right. Maybe he needs a specific type of pressure.
