This guy doesn't even have a recruiting page, but his hudl is destroying people and plays. Anything from $9.95ers on this?

17 minutes ago, Wizlon said:The Texas Longhorns have offered 2023 defensive lineman Jonathan Davis out of Mississippi.
Texas defensive line coach Bo Davis extended the offer to the 6-foot-5, 300-pound senior riser Saturday afternoon.
Inside Texas made a couple of calls to sources in the state of Mississippi this evening. We received word that Bo Davis is scheduled to be at Lawrence County High in Monticello, Ms. next week to meet with Davis.
Davis is also tentatively scheduled to make an official visit to Texas January 28.
The second signing day for the 2023 class is February 1. Inside Texas will have more on Davis as it become available.
Good to see UT will have him in for an OV the only weekend left before NSD2.

Watching Ketch's Friday night livestream & he's way more positive & optimistic about Duce Robinson ending up at UT than this forum or the national recruiting experts. He feels it's 50/50 between UGA & UT.

Anybody else surprised that Saban has only taken in 1 portal transfer this cycle? Some TE from Maryland.
Looks like Saban has taken his 2nd portal transfer this cycle:

From what some was saying he was WR #1 for the upcoming year
5 minutes ago, Hookem2147 said:As good as I think Mitchell is, Dominic Lovett and RaRa Thomas are better than him. He was the going to be the #4 receiving option at best on that team behind those two and McConkey who they seem to love.
I'm sure they were telling him he would be the #1 receiver in an effort to keep him.
Don't forget that 12 Personnel seems to be UGA's base Personnel grouping, so that probably made matters worse.

Where did Michael Cera learn that you can cover recruiting with personality and joie de vivre, because it definitely wasn't from Roach.
Is that really a pic of Michael Cera in Hudson's avatar or nah? Becuz I always get confused going back & forth between Hudson's Avatar and seeing Hudson in the YouTube videos of the Horns247 Recruiting podcast.
I keep thinking Hudson lost weight becuz of his avatar than I'd tune into the latest Horns247 Recruiting podcast video & Hudson is portly with glasses again.

If we're making predictions:
- 11 is still the base. Worthy will be the motion man
- We still see a lot of 12 and a healthy amount of Jumbo TE
- We won't see much 10 but we will see more empty
Mitchell lets Sark run the offense he wants but he's not going to change what that offense is. Sark had 4 1st round receivers at Bama and still ran 11 with a lot of 12.
I'm pretty sure 12 Personnel is the base Personnel grouping in Sark's offense. But I do expect 11 Personnel to be the base next season based on how the offense looked in the Alamo bowl game.

@texifornia What are the chances UT takes 2 QBs in this class? I preferred Deuce Adams over Trey Owens.

I will go on record now, if we get Neyor back at full speed, and Mitchell comes here, we are going to be in 4 wides a ton. Worthy and JWhit in the slot with Neyor and Mitchell on the outside would be incredible. Pull JWhit off the field for Sanders in our base package. This is my unfettered wishcast for 2024.
Naw. J.T. Sanders is too good as both a receiving & blocking TE that he won't come off the field much.

It's looking like AD Mitchell actually filed and their pitch to keep him failed. There's been a scholarship spot cleared for him and NIL allocated for a week, with work on the process happening over two months. Give a ton of credit to the program-NIL complex if this happens. Also, fuck Georgia.
Is UT pursuing of AD Mitchell in the portal the reason that UT stopped pursuing WR Ja'Kobi Lane in '23 H.S. recruiting?

Have TexAgs screenshots talking about this rumor been posted on this forum or Twitter yet?

LOL. Not counting ON3, You'd have no idea AD Mitchell was considered a high 3-star - unranked low 4-star recruit coming outta high school the way UGA fans are acting with Mitchell. He must've really flashed his first couple seasons so far that folks are high on him.

Bobby (IT) reporting that we should hear about the hire of the 'Special Assistant to the Head Coach' as early as today, or tomorrow. Expect it to be an offensive minded-guy. The hire has nothing to do with Gary Patterson, though IT still think it unlikely Patterson returns for next season.
1 hour ago, Tex-19 said:Any idea who this is? Dodge? Cutcliffe? Sean McVay stepping away after all and bringing Kliff plus gf with him?
1 hour ago, BurntOrange&White said:Isn’t that kind of position more for a seasoned coach? Cutcliffe is an interesting name if so.
1 hour ago, conVINCEd said:If it’s a choice between Dodge and Cutcliffe we are basically choosing between a Ewers guy and a Manning guy.
1 hour ago, Hiphopopotamos said:Dodge's name was brought up on IT when talking about the Director of High School Relations position - but Nahlin said that it would probably have to come with the promise of a bigger role. A position like this might be a way to bring Dodge in and give him a chance to coach without making him one of the 11 spots on staff.
How do y'all know the Dodge up for "offensive special Assistant to the head coach" isn't the older Dodge?
