Maalik might not be able to run, but I don't see anywhere in the rulebook that he can't use a scooter behind center, so...profit?

We apparently have a big supply of F-250s available for players, so might as well just use one of those.

Title: "Unleash the Horns: Let's Talk Texas Football"

    User: HookEmAllDay

    Hey there, Surlyhorns! 🤘

I hope y'all are doing better than our Longhorns were last weekend. It's been a rollercoaster of a season so far, and I'm not sure whether to be excited or worried about what's next. But you know what? This is Texas Football, and we're used to the highs and lows.

First off, let's talk about the QB situation. I mean, seriously, can someone tell me what's going on there? We've got talent, but consistency seems to be MIA. It's like we're playing QB roulette every game. Sark, let's pick a starter and stick with him for a bit, huh?

And the defense... don't even get me started. I'm all for the "bend but don't break" philosophy, but it feels like we're just breaking these days. We need some big plays, and we need 'em now. It's time to step up, D!

Now, the good news. Bijan Robinson, y'all! That man is a beast. If we could clone him and put him in every position, I'd be all for it. He's a game-changer, and I can't wait to see what he does next. And don't even get me started on our receiving corps – there's potential there, but we need to see some consistency too.

Lastly, let's talk about the fans. We've got one of the most passionate fan bases in the country, but we've also got a reputation for being a little hard on our team. We need to remember that these are college kids out there doing their best. Sure, we can be critical, but let's not forget to support our Horns through thick and thin.

So, what's your take, Surlyhorns? Are you optimistic about the rest of the season, or are you ready to toss in the towel? Either way, one thing's for sure – we bleed burnt orange, and we'll be there every Saturday cheering our Longhorns on. Hook 'em! 🤘🐂

Oh you don't have to convince me, I love my F150 with the FX4 and the the 3.5 ecoboost.  No experience with the hybrid but I really love my truck.  I'm glad we have both that, and the Wrangler Rubicon.  The 3.6L works fine for us but I suppose the JT probably weighs a bit more.

Oh nice, yeah you know exactly what I'm talking about re: the differences.

My wife has an Overland Sport (you can see the top of it in the background of that photo), and I actually traded in a same year 80th Anniversary JT for this Mojave, and both are/were mostly fine with the same engine.  I don't need it to be fast, because....well it's a Jeep, but damn.  In fact, I took my "old" one on this same trip up 281 to DFW and was fine enough with it that I got the blue one when they offered me a bunch of $$ for it to trade it in.  I was thinking it was the same thing, just even cooler.  Should have kept that one, I guess.

I'm assuming you had the 3.6L V6 but the JT also has the 3L turbo diesel available.  Do you think the extra torque from the 3L turbo-diesel would have helped driving through the hill country?

Probably wouldn't hurt, but I don't really know anything about that diesel motor.  I assume it would at least help with towing and mpg numbers, so at least maybe that part wouldn't just piss you off when you saw it.  The 392 might be a little TOO much, but it really needs some help in pretty much every "engine" category.

I really like that truck, but since we're going to be doing more travelling around these days, it just didn't make sense to keep it when the replacement (F-150 Lariat FX4 with the 3.5 hybrid) is so much better for so many things.

  5. Traded in my Mojave yesterday.  I'll miss it, but it's just too underpowered, and it was VERY noticeable driving at highway speeds through the Hill Country (also 16mpg on the highway wtf man).  They really need to put that 392 in them to make up for the massive weight.

They definitely look super cool though.   For my future Jeep fix, I'm just going to get an old 2 door, throw any doors or tops in the trash, and just use it for fun stuff and all that.

Shhhh, at least not Chicago.  Unless you wanna end up full of bullet holes, of course.

What’s hilarious is I’ll have family visit now and we are like ‘oh, it’s gonna be 65, you guys are lucky’.  And half are like ‘no, I want it 40 degrees, that feels AMAZING’, being dead serious.

Yeah I tend to visit Michigan, where my wife's family still lives, during the winter.  Last time in February just before that big snowstorm down here.  It was super heavily snowing up there and seemed like the same storm...the timing was right.

I like the snow and such when visiting, but wouldn't want to deal with it again (I lived in the Denver area for a while) as a normal resident driving to work and shit.

  7. A-10s are meme planes at this point.  Yeah, the Russians are a bunch of dipshits, but even a conscript sitting in an S-300 trying to figure out what the big red button does is incredibly dangerous for them.  Add the fact that it isn't a USAF pilot in there with a shitload of training and flight hours, and...eh...

F-16s are more useful, assuming we don't give them totally clapped out pieces of shit.  E:  Wait, where ARE the F-16s coming from?  They're not dragging them out of the desert are they?
