No, he knew this was another in a series of sham interviews that comprise much of the rest of the suit and that the Texans were going to hire McCown. It was an ingenious little fuck you that also resulted in a Black coach getting a job.
So here's what he/his lawyers said after Lovie was hired:
Quote"Mr. Flores is happy to hear that the Texans have hired a Black head coach, Lovie Smith, as Mr. Flores’ goal in bringing his case is to provide real opportunities for Black and minority candidates to be considered for coaching and executive positions within the NFL," Flores' attorneys Douglas H. Wigdor and John Elefterakis said in a joint statement. "However, we would be remiss not to mention that Mr. Flores was one of three finalists for the Texans’ head coach position and, after a great interview and mutual interest, it is obvious that the only reason Mr. Flores was not selected was his decision to stand up against racial inequality across the NFL."

I guess Lovie Smith isn’t black enough for Flores if you can actually lose a P.R. battle to the Texans, you’re doing something very wrong
Wait..so he fired off this lawsuit BEFORE he found out whether or not he was getting the Houston job? And then thought that they would hire him anyway?

So the ones they've had two interviews with are McCown, Flores, O'Connell, and Gannon? Anyone else?

They got my cancellation. Switched to Hulu Live and now am getting nearly everything I had on YTTV plus the basic Hulu we already subscribed to for the same price I was getting YTTV for. Confused yet? Me, too. Hulu interface is still suboptimal but I’m peeved enough I had to switch that I’m not switching back anytime soon.
Yeah, same. Wish they would implement a way to reorder the channels like you can on YTTV. The favorites tab is...fine...but not as good as essentially having the same thing above the rest of the guide if you feel like scrolling through.

It’s kids that got rejected from UT or didn’t make CAP minimum at UTSA. You see, it’s the flagship university’s fault they are not disciplined and/or smart enough to get into UT-Austin. Thus, horns down.
More likely it's just the large number of kids who grew up as aggy/tech/baylor/whatever fans but went to UTSA for various reasons instead.

That was a really stupid playcall
E: And what the hell was that onside kick attempt? They'll never expect a slow, straight rolling football coming right to them!

Did he unlawfully enter the home under construction?
Yeah better roll up on him with some guns and try to grab him for going into a construction site.

I turned this on for the first time today when I saw people talking about the jury coming back. Got there in time to see them get sent home and the judge talk about the ceiling for a while.

I'm confused about the dismissed "illegal weapon" charge. From what I've read (on the internet, so it has to be true), this would only apply if he was carrying a short barreled rifle. Since they have the gun in their possession and knew it wasn't a SBR, how can they charge him with that?

Okay whats that call all about

All I know is that Return of the Jedi is on TNT right now and it kicks the shit out of all of the new Star Wars movies.
You know, unpopular opinion: while I think the new trilogy sucks horribly, I like Rogue One and Solo.

2021 Houston Texans Ain't Shit Season Thread

Which consensus? Here? The Texans weren't saying shit, and then they didn't hire McCown despite apparently being utterly regarded PR wise. Hell they STILL haven't hired him, which is weird since they can just make him a QB coach and it would be perfectly normal. I kinda thought that would have happened already, actually...
Anyhow, that's what they've been saying since Lovie was hired. That quote was from a week ago.
