What do you guys like about the Gladiators?

Everything they said, except the soft top and tonneau cover parts since I don't have those.  Yet.

Hey @smuggs and @Bozo_Casanova, what do you do for more storage in the front seat?  Right now all I've gotten is a little tray to go in the center console, but I kinda don't have anywhere to put my phone.  There's a slot between the cup holders, but the wife and I have metal water bottles, so when we both have those with us it results in the screen bouncing off of one or the other on a regular basis...so...not great.

My side steps will be here tomorrow, which is nice.

Side note:  Night sight is great.  It's a little grainy, sure, but still looks pretty good for how dark it was out there.  My driveway lights are all screwed up, but I'm busy buying Jeep stuff again, so that's never getting fixed.

  2. I did a dumb thing and bought an 80th Anniversary Gladiator on Sunday....despite swearing off Jeeps forever after a couple of fucked up JKs ('12 U Sahara and '14 Sport S).

    It's so fuckin cool.  Goddammit.

F the vette haters. I’ve loved them since my dads buddy took my 5yo self for a ride in his brand new 72 with the t tops off.

And I’m hung like a 3 dicked mule so it’s not that Nancy.

Vettes are cool, but I'm biased.  My old man, a now retired lawyer who bleeds burnt orange, has collected them (although one or two at a time, not like...a car lot or whatever) since I was a little kid. He likes Stingrays (nothing past the 70s) the best, or at least did the last time I talked to him about them.

  4. I might have to go and force my mom to leave her house.  72 years old and no power or water since yesterday morning.  I went over there and took her batteries and such to charge her phone, got her some water, moved her car out of the garage so she could have a place to warm up, cleared the snow and ice off her walkway so she could get to it, etc.

She really doesn't want to leave but damn she really needs to.  Not really sure how I would go about even doing that though.

  5. What are these 1A, 1B, etc, categories?  I mean, they appear to be priority levels (or however you want to say it) for getting the shots, but how do you know which one you're in?

They just sent everyone an email at my work saying you can go get it if you want.  You had to sign up and all that to schedule it, but everyone who did, as far as I know, was able to get one.

E:  Ah I see here:  https://www.cdc.gov/vaccines/covid-19/categories-essential-workers.html  No patient contact or anything like that for me, but they're "medical laboratories."  And there are clinics and shit here too, with people coming and going between the buildings, the VA and University Hospital, etc, so it makes sense that everyone gets it.

  6. First shot gave me a little fever and just the same shoulder soreness everyone else seems to note.  No big deal.  The second one kinda fucked me up for about a day and a half.  Really bad chills the first night and then body aches starting in the morning like someone had spent the previous day kicking my ass.

E:  Thinking about it, the body aches may have been from spending hours shivering.  Like a shitty full body workout that went on way too long.

Yep. A is Deshaun - B is Rodgers.

Only relevant stats I didn't include are TDs and sacks because it gives it away for Rodgers. Their raw passing #s are almost identical.

Yeah that's interesting.  I knew they were all in the same general area in passing stats, but didn't know they were that close in so many ways.
