I've been a lifelong BFG AT fan. Multiple sets across multiple trucks over the years. I ventured off a couple times to try Toyo and Cooper and that only reinforced my BFG love but the lead time was 3 weeks for my Jeep and I was impatient. These Nittos so far are superior. If the mileage holds up I don't see any reason to go back.

Hm.  Good to know.  The BFG KOs were my go-to on previous Jeeps and trucks.

I don't have any recs, haven't done any lifts or other major mods to our Jeep, but my thoughts and prayers to your bank account.

I had no idea anyone could go all in on Jeep stuff so quickly.  Hers has like 80 miles on it, max, and is the first Wrangler she's ever owned.  Re: Lifts: Having thought about it more, I'll probably just have the dealer put the Mopar one in so as not to get in to warranty fuckery if shit happens.

  2. So my wife liked the Gladiator enough that she went out and got herself a 21 JLU with the Altitude package.  She was out there poking around with it, started looking at the tires vs the ones on mine (both stock but mine are the AT Duelers while hers are the HT or whatever the road versions are), came back in and was like "We should get bigger tires!"  Great.

There's about to be a Jeep build cold war in my driveway, and my bank account is turbofucked.  I told myself I wouldn't do this again after buying another Jeep, which was clearly a damn lie.  Related note:  Mopar performance lift vs AEV 2.5 DualSport vs Clayton Overland+.  Anyone have recommendations/knowledge about these?

  3. Ordered myself a Bestop Sunrider just now.  Looking forward to that showing up on Thursday.

Any of you JT guys know a good soft tonneau cover to check out?  Ideally, I'd want one that you can't open without the tailgate being down (aside from just cutting it and all that, of course), but I don't know if that's a thing with the soft ones vs metal.

fuck, imagine the thing is going deeper and deeper, you start to hear the creaking of the hull, and then it caves in.  Ugh.

I dunno, at least when it does happen it's quick.  Crunch, the end.  Probably better than being trapped in a dead submarine laying on the bottom with no real possibility of escape.

I guess they are just waiting it out? See if criminal charges are filed? Could they have traded him before 3/16/2021 before the news broke? If they had would that team have voided the trade?

Trades this year weren't official until the 17th, so a team could back out any time before that.  The possibility that the guy they're trading a bunch of picks for is a rapist and may eventually be going to prison would probably do it, but I suppose they could roll the dice.

I'm not sure about NFL policies or player's association..stuff...on that type of thing either though, so there might be something there to void the trade.

@MadBurgerMaker  - Right now I don't have anything additional for front seat storage. Space is pretty tight, you're right. I've seen some dash-mount accessory track bar options that look interesting but I haven't pulled the trigger on anything yet. With the Bronco coming I hope Jeep does an interior refresh on the JL/JT and adds some storage features. I really like the way the Bronco is laid out - simple, clean and plenty of real estate for accessory mounting.

All I've really seen are some tray like things that fit between the seats and are super shallow (like half an inch deep) or bags that hang off the grab bar.  There's also an overhead storage console thing, but that obviously won't work for a plugged in phone.  I use Android Auto so wireless AA capability for uconnect would instantly solve this, admittedly minor, problem for me.  This is interesting, but requires you to run a hotspot on your phone which means you might as well just plug it in since you've got it out already:  https://forum.xda-developers.com/t/android-4-1-proxy-gateway-for-android-auto.3813163/

Anyhow, that's a nice lookin Jeep you've got there.  Makes me want a soft top again with the rear window sections off like that.
