The light came on for Colt? When? In high school? He showed up as a redshirt freshman and went like 26 tds and 7 picks or something. He's one of the most accurate quarterbacks in the history of college football.

Sam Ehlinger is like the meatheaded moronic second cousin of Shea Morenz. He and Colt McCoy don't belong in the same sentence unless you're demonstrating the concept of antonyms to second graders.

True freshman, redshirt freshman, what’s the difference? Your passionate hate for Sam is disturbing. “The true freshman didn’t win every game for us! Only some of them! He SUCKS!”

Honestly I’m starting to believe you’re doing a bit.

IIRC I was the lone person to predict 7-6 before last season started in that poll. Might've been one other person, but not more than that.

This year I'm picking a 7-5 regular season finish. A win over OU but a WTF loss to Baylor included. I also think UT loses the bowl game to once again finish 7-6. Hopefully that gets Beck out of here.

I’d prefer winning with Beck instead of fantasizing about losing to get rid of Beck.

  3. It's strange to think that I'll never see us beat our biggest rival on their home turf. I'm pretty grateful that I will never have to sit foot in Norman. Long live the Cotton Bowl.

I've had some great burgers at Hopdoddy's and Casino.  I'm sure there are plenty of other good burgers in Austin, but I'd like to see the definitive Top 10 list, because if those two aren't on it I'm missing some damn good options.

    I know Hopfield's gets a lot of love.  I'll assume it's Top 10.

I like plenty of bar burgers like Roaring Fork, etc. but they're not exactly transcendent.  Where are all these hidden gems hiding out?

I used to live in an apartment directly behind Crown & Anchor. I gotta say it's my favorite place in town when I'm craving a burger. Nau's drug is kind of a cool experience for a burger.

Is this true though?  I'd argue Gary Johnson this year will be better than Malik last, in addition to big improvements out of Roach, Hager, Graham, McCulloch, and Charles O to minimize the loss of Poona.  Elliot was nails, but you gotta love the influx of DB talent that can play a ton this year in Sterns, Foster and Cook. *shrugs*

I strongly believe our defense will be better than last year. And I hope our o line, qb, and rb's will marginally improve.

Well the difference for me is that I am emotionally, physically, and psychologically incapable of mustering up any sort of kool aid laced enthusiasm.

You want a swig of my drink? I'm fired up for year two of Tom Herman.

It's a sign that you need to buy some old school iron. Maybe start with an Uberti 1847 Walker replica. That should scratch an itch you didn't know you had.

Or I could buy a gun that I can reload without getting shot to death.

It's possible I may have overreacted just a smidge.  It's probably because I lost both of my ears in a horrible weed eater accident.  Those things are dangerous.

You, of all people, should be making fun of big ears.
