This guy. How is he not already making a career in Hollywood out of being the antagonistic bully in every coming-of-age high school movie being made these days?
When I saw his 247 picture for the first time I legitimately thought they must have accidentally cropped him out of it and uploaded a picture of his dad instead. Never seen someone so born to thrive in insurance sales.

If so - is it correct to conclude that we will not compete with USC on this his one because of what we believe to be a too high offer that we are unwilling to match or is it a case of being able to match but other non NIL factors tip favor to USC ?
Being able to broadly compete with any school in terms of NIL and being able to outbid any school for any given recruit are two different things. This cycle we've clearly seen that NIL hasn't been a competitive disadvantage for us at all, but no school can afford to buy every possible recruit that interests them.

I think there was a time we would just stop calling and see how it played out.
Or even better, a time when top 100 RBs would try to commit and our coach would make them flip on NSD.

What's Wiggins' reputation as a recruiter overall? He certainly has some nice names on his 247 page but I'm curious how much of the leg work he was actually doing in those recruitments vs just having his name attached.

If you're going to sit here and tell us that Mike Roach is the Blowjob of 995ers, you'd better come with receipts or pick another descriptor.
That's a hell of a sentence right there.

IT poster who has some insider info said he’s heard Emmett Jones for right now
I know he was regarded pretty favorably back when he got floated as a candidate for Mehringer's replacement, how's he done since then?

Am I remembering wrong or wasn't there a still a question of whether we even had the space for him a month ago? That seems nuts to me.

Stan Drayton is a straight up Longhorn legend for pulling that off.

We can’t lose Baxter. I can’t lose a Bijan and a Baxter in the same year.
Tf is this coming from?

What happened to Harrison-Pilot? Had a great year with Temple. He just had a TCU home visit. Gid we cool on him or did he cool on us?
I think the former, if I remember correctly we were only willing to take one of him and Hale and we struck out on Hale. Not 100% on that so someone please correct me if that's wrong

Perhaps we could get Loreal Sarkisian to dress her up.
Are we sure that's still a good thing?

Watching him try to beat press coverage against 5'10 DBs was like trying to fight people in your dreams

Excuse me sir, I'll have you know he makes 7 figures a year and his resume speaks for itself.
He must moonlight as a nurse in his free time.

I don't follow recruiting closely but that's not the vibe I've picked up from recruiting updates here. To me it sounds like Hicks family has been brainwashed into thinking PK's scheme isn't a fit which is stupid if you've watched aggy and OU this year.
Both those fanbases have been upset all year with the amount of 3 man fronts they've run.
There's always a stud or two every cycle that is just dead set on not going to Texas no matter what is pitched to them; Hicks is that guy this class. I don't think normal recruiting logic applies in cases like those.

I thought Oregon was the one paying in Crypto. I think aggy was paying in chicken gift cards.
One of the most mind blowing realizations I've had about their culture is that they legitimately think Layne's is good. As a human who has eaten chicken prepared literally anywhere else, I was dumbfounded at how mediocre it was when I tried it for the first time.
