  1. I'm not going to give that guy clicks by linking it, but he LITERALLY got this from a screenshot of an OB post on MBG that was positing Arch is overrated. Farrell literally commented on it this morning. MBG is a twitter account that screenshots hawt takes from fan sites for public ridicule. He's worse than a caricature at this point.
  2. I think Roach just found out that Patrick Taylor is dead.
  3. Mama Simmons must have been spotted in Westlake touring houses
  4. LSU has reasons to feel good based on the prospect. Texas has reasons to feel confident, because "moves" The hope for LSU is to not be in a last minute bidding war. They're in one. Simmons' actions indicate sincere interest in LSU, but he may go to Texas, because "moves". Ya know.......this is pretty accurate.
  5. JFC is this a bit? Every post lives at the intersection of technical illiteracy and inane one-liners, so you're either futureman's Bob Hope adjacent sock, or you're a contemporary of Bob Hope.
  6. Not a great data point if Simmons and Durham announce together
  7. "HEB is out of brisket, but here's some hanger steaks which should be fine."
  8. Why is the "we need bodies" contingent wiping their ass with this thread? Zina hasn't even been a take the whole cycle, and y'all are pretending he's a need. I bet you thought Max Merrill would pan out, too.
  9. 247 had that right. He was looking at a total mechanics rebuild. Maybe he figures that out, but I think the move to RB was the best thing for everyone. Idk that Roschon could have maximized to the level he did anywhere else. Edit to add: Ian Boyd couldn’t stop pining for a move to lb. IB, we got one of those, that’s a David Gbenda.
  10. I mean, let's think about this. Is aggy going to land Simmons at the pool party? No, definitely not. Hill was out of the blue last year, but he had much more perceived interest in aggy at that point than Simmons does. So what other recruit that we're both in it for will be the summer surprise? McKinley? Risky...LSU has more success flipping committed in-state prospects than we do. We've basically conceded Hudson and Bussey to "not us", so no big splash there. Ivy wouldn't be a momentum builder. If we are pushing for Black to commit and skip it, that would be why. If he makes it to the pool party, Black is the odds on favorite to be their annual summer acquisition.
  11. There is literally an entire board dedicated to this bullshit. GTFO. We're getting a commit today
  12. '25 has 3-4 in-state tackles in the top 10 at the position, and if we miss on Baker, I would hope we go harder at Fasusi and Haywood
  13. "When God closes one door, he opens the window at the Texas St Chi O house" - Greg Davis
  14. Jfc what’re y’all doing in here
  15. aGgY iSnT rAcIsT Seriously though, this shit is crazy. Chit, scuse me
  16. You're overthinking it. There are 10,625 D1 football scholarships available each season and each recruiting class is intended to replace ~1/4 of a team's 85 available scholarships. If there are ~450 4*/5* prospects, only ~17% of the 2656 available scholarships will be filled by one. If that were closer to 25-30%, I would agree, but when it's < 1 in 5 prospects, you can't really argue that it's diluted. Especially because the 5* count is artificially capped.
  17. I haven't been following this cycle as closely as years past, so this is a bit uninformed. Did any of our commits do the camp circuit? This would absolutely be the update where on3 credits camp performances because they can rebalance in the fall, and the movement appears to be "new data", as opposed to re-evaluating tape and adjusting to reflect their offers. If it were the latter, the IDLs that Gerry swears aren't 3*s would have shot up
  18. A situation so bad, even Cardale Jones said "no thanks"
