Ehlinger committed 4 years ago today. Flashback to Hamm's great insight.

Push for Ty Jordan then it makes things clearer in the '21 cycle. Land Jordan and then focus on Wheaton.

I want to like Wells but he proves to be another village idiot every time he writes or speaks. No one is recruiting "over" Bijan and it was not an osu-Texas battle at Rivals, it was all osu.
I don't know about Wells but IT has been pretty adamant that Bijan wasn't a lock to Ohio State. Nahlin was saying recently that we still had a shot. Matter of fact, people on this board were making fun of IT for saying we still had a shot.
You can't have it both ways.

They had a lesser rb than Evans lead the SEC in rushing and run for 1700+ yds last season behind that Oline. The two starting tackles were low 3*'s.
Give the devil his due. Fisher is as good as any playcaller / OC in P5 at designing and executing run schemes which successfully attack and exploit the weaknesses in opposing defenses.

Bijan is a 5 star talent and isn't nearly the headache that Evans is. Win win.

kind of like Ehlinger’s stats and the the highlights of the UT offense’s performance in y’all’s spring game? They were playing in tornado level winds. Different variables in play.

Not sure where Moreau finished in '19 but losing him is significant. https://www.andthevalleyshook.com/2018/2/3/16960296/2018-lsu-football-foster-moreau-pro-football-focus-grade
“His 81.4 run blocking grade was number one among all FBS tight ends last season,” Liskiewitz said.
By the numbers, Moreau has proven himself to be arguably LSU’s most steady and reliable offensive target.
“His 476 run blocks was number three in the country. The number one guy was from Air Force, which runs almost exclusively option plays, so this speaks to Moreau’s consistency and dependability.”
-
Yeah, the biggest question for LSU next year is their OL/run game.
They have some decent RBs but not the type studs they've had in years past. Their OL was terrible last year but maybe they see some improvement as most of those guys return. LSU probably lost their best blocker from last year (TE Moreau was drafted in the 4th round). Moreau saved them from being a dumpster fire last year and he's gone.

He wants to play offense, so he's choosing Baylor.
Yeah, I read that but a lot can change after an OV. That's if A&M still has a spot for him.

A&M still have a spot for this guy? They're running out of spots and stacking a bunch of 3 stars. At some point you would think they would get more selective. Maybe they're taking over 25.

4, we also took Willie Tyler.
Oops, yeah you're right. This staff seems more than willing to take JUCO and transfers.
-
We took 3 JUCO in '17 (Johnson, Rowland and Chisholm), 1 in '18 (Grandy), and 3 in '19 (Jones, Johnson, Mitchell). This staff likes to supplement with a couple JUCO each cycle.
There will be a name or two (like Titi) that will pop up.

Jimbo shoved his scheme down Trickett's throat and we saw the end result.
Yeah, I think this is true. Just look at the type of OL A&M is taking. It's Jimbo that's making these decisions.
You're telling me this is the 3rd OL coach in a row under Jimbo that wants nothing but guards on the roster? Nah, Jimbo is the one doing these evaluations. It's the only thing that makes sense.
-
They’re really hyping their 3rd or 4th choice at QB.
-
His trainer (flight skillz) thinks he's one of the best DBs in the state. If he camped at Texas he might have impressed them like Owens did last year.

I think Karic and Fillinger are in line for bumps on rivals and espn based on what I've read.
-
I'll say this about Chisholm. I'm not sure if he will ever be a major contributor but I think he's been an asset to the program. He's always recruiting guys on twitter.

Fatheree has no bend and can't move laterally. Unfortunately for him it's not something you can correct because he's outgrowing football.
We need Jackson to go somewhere else and that would be a total whiff if the best tackle prospect they land is Fatheree. Does Jimbo have something against tackles that can move?

It's almost like they might be paying recruits.

I don't know if I should even be putting these updates in this thread anymore, but Evans is at Georgia today after visiting A&M yesterday.
This guy really knows how to get the money flowing. LSU, A&M and Georgia the same weekend.
Could this be anymore obvious? Just gotta squeeze in Alabama next.

I think everyone forgot that Price is the next Jerry Rice.
This class reminds me a lot of the Mack classes near the end at Texas. Some nice prospects at the top of the class but a lot of bread after that.

We don’t want to move on Titi too fast right when we first meet. You can’t be too eager like that. You have to play it cool, set the mood first, build a rapport, keep things chill for a while but tease it a little bit to test the waters, and then you start to escalate, and when the moment is right, that’s when you decide Titi is a take.
This sounds a little rapey.
