No. Victim is not at fault for what occurred to him. Could he have saved his own life? Yeah, probably.
It was the black guys fault for sure. He should’ve just listened.

The first coronavirus drop the market took ran from about Feb 20th to about March 23rd. Plenty of time to get out....in hindsight. The first week of March made it really tough because the market recovered a bit and seemed like it was stabilizing.... then bottom fell out.
I think at some point the market will come out of it's fantasy land and rejoin the real world. Quarterly reports, unemployment rates, and vanishing dividends are going to start to matter again. I can see a snowball effect that starts with one or two stocks and then picks up steam and the whole market goes south really fast.
The problem that is stressing me out is how will I know it's time to get out? The first day it the market drops 5%? Two big drops in a row? I week of down? I need a crystal Ball.
Better to be a day early than a day late
anyone do well on Moderna?

I think we all can agree that Atlanta is probably a pretty racially progressive place.
But I think it might be a mistake to conclude that the rest of the state is not.
Although Savannah is as deep south as you want to get, it's my impression that the artistic community there renders it a pretty progressive place. Maybe that's just a veneer. And it's not as rural-ish as these more southern reaches of the state.
Clearly, here, we have two prosecutors that are mired in the status quo (protecting cops at all cost), if not outright racist. And a couple of Cletii that are pretty severely racist. But the third prosecutor seems on track to do the right thing and I wonder if Glynn County, where presumably any trial would take place, is so racist as to avoid impaneling a fair-minded jury.
A long time ago my AIT was in Augusta. Went to the mall with some African American soldiers and we saw a young white kid with a pic of mlk being targeted by a rifle scope. I asked my fellow soldiers if they were pissed and if they wanted to confront this kid and they just said “man we would get into a fight every day if we let this bother us. It’s the south”

Also, Ford was the only LB we took last class, so it wouldn't hurt to take 3 if possible. Blackwell, Cooks, Williams/Jones.
Geezus that last class had one lb and one corner?

The realist final two were Strong and Franklin
2 hours ago, Newy25 said:Our final realistic final three were Art Briles, Jim Mora and Strong. Of that list most people were happy with the hire. Some of us wanted Briles because we did not know of his pro-rape platform at the time. But he refused to be interviewed and wanted to be offered the job without an interview. I recall most people on Shaggy being totally fine with the hire.
His coordinator selection was an entirely different story.
I remember those names. Jimbo was a name also but allegedly Korn Ferry didn't clear him. What I remember was Briles didn't want to interview, David Shaw said no multiple times, not sure about Mora, would be surprised if he shot us down. I liked Franklin more than Charlie, personally. And with all that, there was the rumor that Powers wanted to hire the first minority HC here at Texas.

He may have been a poor evaluator of four stars but he was definitely a crappy coach.

FWIW, I've done literally that exact same thing before. I wandered into a home under construction with realtor signs in the yard when I was around 19-20 when I was jogging out of pure idle curiousity since I had never been inside a house being built before. Got yelled at by one of the guys, left and continued my run.
Idk if he's doing the same thing or not but it's not like he was going to be able to stuff a power drill down his gym shorts or anything anyway.
Is that a fishing pole in your pants or are you just happy to see me?

Eh, I distinctly remember the posts with the spreadsheet of how many of Charlie's recruits from Louisville made it to the NFL while comparing the rating of the commitment we had just picked up. In retrospect, no, he was not a great evaluator, but in the moment, a lot of people in this community were buying what he was selling.
Otherwise, spot-on.
I wasn't on shaggy or surly at the time, but a lot of people hated the hire.

I’m sure it depends on the neighborhood but with the house I’m buying it was a case of only having to outbid 2 other buyers instead of 10.
$500 over list got me the house, followed by a negotiation for the seller to put on a $13,000 new roof prior to purchase. A couple months ago I probably would’ve had to have offered a few thousand over list to get it. On the house I just sold, it was on the market twice because the first buyer backed out. Each time we had multiple offers above listing price within 3 days. This was in early April. Both houses are in South Austin. So, this part of town isn’t quite to the point of lowball offers getting the house yet, but it’s not as hot as it used to be.
Yeah I hear ya.
Saw housing prices are down 4.7% this month, 1month into Covid. I may wait it out. -

Guy who filmed it lost his job and his family is being harassed. Was he buddies with Cletus and Jr?
Apparently he thought the video would exonerate the alleged perps

Interesting twist in my home sale. It was supposed to close on Monday. Turns out the buyer wired their money to a scammer posing as the title company. Pretty sophisticated scam. Their $120,000 is long gone and the deal is obviously dead. Devastating for everyone involved.
PSA: You guys might want to hand deliver cashier's checks for your own deals. These scammers are good. It is easy to get fooled if you don't personally know the title agent.
House goes back on the market Monday. Yay!Wow. Awful.
Those of you that are on the verge of buying, were you able to negotiate the price ?
