He doesn't. I mean, I guess it's not out of the ordinary to see a team build momentum with a guy down the stretch, offer him and get the immediate flip and commit, but I'd be curious to know what clappy's hearing, or what I missed.
Bobby and Gerry mentioned on podcast.

They don't care for each other....so maybe?
They might have had a falling out, but it sounds like they were friends for like 10 years and PK was a mentor that encouraged him to get into coaching. So who knows what the issues was.

Guilbeau Fong'd +Ear'd back to us
I hope he can play. I guess TCU wanting him isn't the worst sign.

Maybe they don't have as much money as our guys, but they're far more willing to spend it.
I bet us moving to the SEC encouraged them to pony up this year.

I mean I guess it makes logical sense, but it's funny how being a complete dumpster fire might be better for recruiting than being a mediocre team.
If you're telling recruits your players are trash, then losing just confirms you're honest. Chess baby

I mean he could be lying to Such but we'll see. If it's not him Harris sucks for teasing us like this.

There's a weird sort of confirmation bias that can occur when someone whom everyone agrees is a total imbecile with zero credibility (Herbstreit) happens to agree with you on one particular matter. I don't know if that type of confirmation bias has a specific name but I've noticed it before and have seen it multiple times in this thread.
I totally agree with you.

Sark is failing, but hopefully he recruits a couple of good QBs and OLs for the next guy.

Except for that brief period of time Greg Robinson showed up with magic fairy dust to turn swiss cheese into a block of iron.
He and Ash both had head starts.

Or Matt Rhule.
OU would have it's pick of coaches.
Matt Rhule using the NFL to get the job at Oklahoma is pretty savvy.

Well, he knew Urban wasn't coming.

Someone asked a Bama247 mod about it. He said there isn't anything to read into.
What I read into it is they aren't playing and haven't been playing. So we got that going for us.

Nothing against Jimmy Lake, but I hope his situation shakes a few guys loose that know PK's system.

I’m excited to see what imaginary breadcrumbs some on this thread will find to still hold out hope for banks. Because I know some of you twats can’t help yourselves.
I hope when I make it to the top like you and CTJ, I stop punching down.

What do you specifically disagree with? Only my last point is up for debate as far as I'm concerned.
It's a bit early on that one, don't you think?

Dameyune Craig is an excellent recruiter. Andre Coleman is not. Jimbo has built a winning program there. Sark has not and will not do that. This isn't difficult to grasp.
There you go again.

Unless of course we are battling for guys like Bryce Anderson or Evan Stewart, and they end up going to A&M. Recruiting against A&M is not a zero sum game, but Texas isn't operating in a vacuum either.
Of course.

Your statement I quoted is inline with many of the people that could snap their fingers and make this shit end.
Don’t worry about aggy. Them winning doesn’t affect us. They’ll never win. We’ll be back.
No, that's not what I'm saying. i'm saying Texas has Texas problems to solve. Worrying about A&M's success is an overly emotional thing that isn't as directly tied to our issues as we make it out to be.

Honest question-
How is it that when we lose "recruits don't look at wins and losses the same way fans do" so it's ok for us, but when aggy beats Bama once a decade all of the sudden they're in the hunt for all these recruits? Never mind they also lost to Arky and have no offense outside of that one win, when we have shown an offense, but an inept defense?
And not to mention that relative to preseason expectations, their season is disappointing. They fell flat on their faces out of the gate.

While that was annoying, do we think he’s lying? I’m not surprised he didn’t say anyone’s name in the radio.
