    What’s the news on Demas?

I was confused too. Demas is listed as a transfer possibility in that 247 article.

    TEXT:

Demas’ career catch total after two years in College Station stands at 15. He’s been a bigger part of Texas A&M’s offense in Year 2. He’s caught all 15 of those passes and has even started four games. Were this the preseason, I’d mark Demas as a near lock to transfer. He was on heavy transfer portal watch last offseason but decided to stick it out. There’s a chance he’s sold on being a bigger part of the offense in 2022 with Haynes King, the QB in his 2020 class, set to return from injury. But it’s worth noting no receiver other than Anias Smith has more than 15 catches this year. Jimbo Fisher’s offense does not heavily feature wide receivers, and that does not go unnoticed by those in that room.

The MVP of the 2020 Big 12 Championship Game and Cotton Bowl winner is your significant step back? We can only dream of taking such significant steps back. Thanks for helping me making my point.

“We” doesn’t enter into it. Hiring head coaches is tricky. They haven’t had to do it. That was my point.

“For one reason or another”, QB changes, DC changes, OC changes, learn to read, etc.

I can read. Sometimes we’re right. Rattler

was worse than Kyler. Their Oline and defense took steps back this year. I just think hiring a new head coach is a risk they haven’t even had to to take. They aren’t immune to messing it up.

How many times are we going to say this, for one reason or another, before we learn our lesson?

They’ve had two coaches in the past 20 years. Do we say this a lot?

This has been our twelfth season of butthole. What a fucking joke. Anyway, feeling real good about my bet with ol'closetohumping. When a convicted okie felon is trying to go scorched earth on a coaching staff while his son's arm has people pining for Major Applewhite, that dude ain't starting the following season.@closetohumping

    I love this drama.

All these big time coaching changes are pretty fortuitous for us because it may free up some extra portal players. Easier to poach guys from LSU, USC, UW (PK recruited/coached a lot of those guys), etc.

Washington in particular is an interesting one to watch. PK was their DC just a year ago so some of them may want to reunite with him. We obviously can offer playing time on defense. They're 15th in DFEI this year (which may be a sign on the Lake vs. PK debate unfortunately). Savell Smalls please (interestingly Sark was his primary at Bama)

Is Peter Sirmon’s kid any good? Lots of tackles at LB for UW. I’d kill for an assignment sound LB.

Sark can can make all the adjustments in the world but if you don’t have the players that can execute those adjustments then it’s still shit results.   If Sark has good players he can out game plan anyone as he proved last year.   The question is can he get those really good football players to come to Texas.

Yeah, the only thing I feel good about right now is the offensive scheme.
