IT on the WR search
Wide receiver coach
Our info guides us to the belief Alabama wide receiver coach Holman Wiggins is Steve Sarkisian’s main target for the same position at Texas. We’ve mainly arrived to that opinion by process of elimination.
I would like this hire, but for process of elimination to work, you have to know all the candidates.

Nahlin (IT) says Wiggins is weighing his options and that he wants a chance to be an OC.
What's the current confidence in IT on coaching search stuff? I prefer them to the other sites, but since Sark was hired, I don't feel like they're really ahead of the bunch with assistant hires. I mean, I wouldn't tell Eric Nahlin anything if I was making deals.

I don't have strong opinions on the WR coaching search, but I do feel like Samples would be great at tampering in the portal. Seems like a plus.

Trey Sanders to TCU
They are killing it in the "names I remember from recruiting" department.

Well they certainly had the better season. I’m not certain OU goes 6-6 in that shit conference, though.
6-6 is kind of misleading since you went 3-6 in conference. Really bad.

Still wrong.
We'll see.

Sorry @Constant, I wasn't clear. I think Venables was a terrible, rushed comfort hire. It has nothing to do with Peyton Bowen.

Regardless of the wet fart finish, this is an outstanding class. Certainly one of the better defensive classes I can remember.
A fish rots from the head.

2 seasons multiple injuries, would be a pass for me from a data standpoint.
Yeah, have to get guys that will actually be available week to week. Neyor (can't predict any of that) and Agiye not doing anything totally boned our WR core.

Things aren’t great for Aggie now, but it’s not a disaster yet. Now if Weigman and/or a few other top players were to portal then the CTJ comment about the very best leaving too would come to fruition. I would like to see this.
Their disaster is existential. Deep down in their hearts, they don't believe anymore.

We got Ewers. So we’re off to a good start.

I don't think Williams is leaving ou. He's the top dog there and he's a special talent. He's very young, but you can see he has all the tools. BV should be sucking his dick to keep him.
Not hard to negative recruit veer and shoot’s ability to get you ready for the NFL. If I were Riley, I’d cast a lot of doubt on the benefit of wasting 2 years in that system.

Does anyone know the AD of Alabama and what it is he does?
Of course they do. Lots of smart guys on here, just ask them.

With your list we would still have a glaring weakness at LB assuming Fetui is a DE and non-strengths at TE and WR. Mims would be great but I still think we would need QJ or Boutte or the NC wide receiver. And I don't know about relying on a couple of freshmen OL.
We don’t just get the first pick of every transfer.

Here's a LB to watch. PK liked this tweet and sounds like he might be hitting the portal.
Sign up any EDGE guy with NFL potential.

I mean - we weren’t expecting Campbell on NSD1?
I don't know who it is with certainty, but Campbell is the correct assumption. And with that assumption, holy fuck, what an OL class.

Jacoby on Brian Kelly, "he's kind of older but he's nice and wants to win".
Sounds like a ringing endorsement.
Brian Kelly is losing the PR war, but I bet he fields good teams. And we'll be like, oh right he's an asshole but wins everywhere he coaches.

Kid had commitable offers from Bedenbaugh and Cristobal but noted OL guru (checks notes) 'Gabe Brooks' doesn't like his shuttle and 3 cone. What. The. Fuck.
Also that shit about 'should be able to dunk' is such bullshit. Is Gabe under 5'10" - he seems like a little man.
But Gabe did talk to Mike about it.

we can make him co-DC and pay him more. If he wants to call plays then I guess Sark better start looking fast.
For sure on titles and money. I wasn't thinking you'd include calling plays in "by any means necessary."

there are 2 coaches we need to keep at all costs at this point. Davis and Flood.
I would not let Bo Davis call the defense to keep him if that's what this hypothetical offer is. HIs recruiting is lights out, and we'd have to find a stud to replace him.

1310 The Ticket Hard Line crew intimated from "sources" that they'd heard that big aggy DL Nolan was being shopped by his dad and was getting upwards of a million. Drama that caused some other SEC teams to pass.
Who the hell knows, just interesting that such a big show would drop specific numbers.
That's wild. Outside of QB, it seems like an unsustainable way to build a roster.

I think we can all agree that we want Stewart, but I think we can also all agree that the universe wants Stewart at Jackson State.
