My sister isn’t QAnon but she is generic Trumptard.  Aggie of course.  She just reposted this on Facebook.

    three things:

I care about her so pointing out she’s regarded isn’t an option. I feel like they leverage that fact all the time.  It’s impolite to point out they are dumb so dumbness just keeps spreading.

You see dumb shit on FB all the time, but how dumb can we get that she doesn’t realize the very fact that she’s seeing the post means it’s not banned.

It isn’t enough to just post the Lord’s Prayer. You have to do it in a manner that says you’re sticking it to your perceived enemy. She is a fairly devout woman, but it honestly makes me wonder how much is a facade for some other purposes.

Uncle just did this. Comment on it and call it bullshit. Post the Reuters link

Cross posting from Joe Biden is God thread. Like all good things I will jinx it. Been some pretty big movement in cannabis industry. Seeing the gains in the stock market

  3. There's alot of snowbirds in Arizona whose grandkids are always at the pool in the afternoon. I'd like to drink a beer in peace but they keep hopping out of the pool and into the hot tub and back into the pool and it's really annoying and I'd like that to stop immediately. Someone please study this

Out of curiosity, what are your conversations with your father like, considering your political leanings?

I’ve told him the Democrats have my votes as long as I’m alive, and when I’m dead too, gets him to laugh. If we’re in a truck together and he’s got it on talk radio he’ll tell me “the de-programming won’t last long” before changing the channel. My grandma was an executive secretary for the racing commission in the state and worked in a bunch of other areas in West Virginia and has a huge award from Manchin that hangs out in her closet for nobody to see.

He’s a social conservative and a mixed bag fiscally, was a big believer in unions and that Nixon was going to win anyway so no harm no foul.

As much I dick ride Biden in the yearly threads, that is me making fun of the FCHorn and other bozos of the world who put up the Hillary Clinton will never be President thread. I’m just way more committed than them.

The only issues I care about religiously are expanding our safety net through Medicaid expansion and a public option, automatic voter registration at 18 with adequate early voting periods everywhere, and fighting back against gerrymanders. I work in fertility and women’s health now but don’t post a lot in those topics. Generally stay out of LGBTQ threads.

Are both of them Josephus? He’s not reliable and wasn’t an “historian” in the modern sense of the word. There are questions about the reliability of his (scant) writings about Jesus, whom he never knew, and whether his accounts were even his own and not edits added later on by believers with an agenda. (He

No one wrote about Jesus during the time that he was alleged to have existed. Not even the Romans who were kind of big on record-keeping. Can you name a Roman “historian” who wrote about Jesus and who wasn’t a Christian convert? Can you name a source that mentions Jesus earlier than 100 years after his supposed death?

If you want to believe, it’s easy to be convinced. If you don’t care what’s true and only want to find convincing evidence about whether Jesus really existed, you can’t find any. I have no idea if the historical Jesus actually existed. I doubt that he did. Maybe he did. Maybe he’s a compilation of numerous characters who existed during that time, itinerant preachers who advocated peace and love for everyone like a first century hippie. Maybe he’s a purely fictional character like Gandalf or Hari Seldon or John Galt.

It doesn’t really matter. Someone wrote the words attributed to him and we can take those words for what they’re worth. But I’ve yet to see any convincing evidence that the historical Jesus actually existed. If he really was all that the legends and myths say he was, someone who lived during his time would’ve mentioned him.

Tacitus and Pliny the younger are two more off the top of my head. I don’t care enough to wiki whether they are serious or not

  6. Wisconsin and Arkansas have expanded Medicaid but have legislatures that remove them from budget.

Georgia has a work requirement that’s tripping things up. Mississippi Senate is trying to do similar.

There’s going to be an attempt in FL to get on an initiative in 2026 I believe.

Wyoming had their house pass it way back in 2021 but Senate tangled it up then and looks like it won’t happen anytime soon. They want a state specific public private partnership like Alabama will attempt this year.

Texas is dumb.TN Governor is dumb.

South Carolina has a waiver system that allowed them to expand coverage and Biden admin waived work requirement on them. Not technically Medicaid.

If the Texas Democratic Party weren’t completely worthless and incompetent, clips of this video would be in ads running on every social media platform and running during the evening and nightly news on stations all over the state

I think the no caffeine/coffee is because they’re diuretics and can make you dehydrated and send you back after you just emptied yourself out. He’s also 65 so no spring chicken
