  1. I wondered what you meant the other day when you said, "Bloodlines matter again" and specifically thought you might have been talking about Kelvontay. I'm assuming now that the intention.
  2. You clearly missed the post of his where he bragged about being an aggy and going back to texags to laugh about all the chaos he had caused on our board.
  3. But there's no way we pulled as hard as they pulled on Dallas. I mean have you seen the stretch marks on that kid?
  4. i liked that one, too. Reminds me of "Moses was a very humble man, more humble than anyone else on the face of the earth." Numbers 12:3 (written by Moses)
  5. You're going to need to apologize to his mother if you don't think he's for real.
  6. Always disappointing when you come face to face with aggy's best and brightest. Can you imagine if your best "long con" was spending 45 minutes posting worthless hot takes about walk-on programs and 4-3 defensive schemes?
  7. Oh shit. Did SWC already get a new handle?
  8. My b. I clicked back in and thought that was still a worthless discussion about Collin Johnson. Didn't realize it had moved on to a worthless discussion about Caden Sterns.
  9. If being "a complete fucking idiot" got you crowdsourced around here, we wouldn't have the Football board.
  10. Can I just say that I love that we're going to crowdsource this motherfucker just for posting about his rep?
  11. Don't see what that has to do with Moro, who is actually a year young for his age.
  12. you're going to need to upgrade your processor.
  13. https://www.detroitlions.com/team/coaches-roster/bo-davis Detroit Lions, 2018- University of Texas at San Antonio, 2017 Jacksonville Jaguars (defensive intern), 2016 Alabama, 2014-15 Texas, 2011-13 Alabama, 2007-10
  14. Some may not run "air raid" spread offenses but all of them run the spread offense as opposed to a traditional pro offense. Right. And have you seen what Orlando's D does to traditional spread offenses? Have you watched either of the ISU games? Or either of the Baylor games with Orlando at the helm? Or maybe when UH played against top-5 Louisville in 2016? Prediction.Pain.gif
  15. All you guys posting about scheme issues, you're exactly right. I mean just look at how obviously different a 4-man front is versus a 3-man front against traditional 11 personnel. I can't fathom any way for our staff to combat this.
  16. Joke is on you. Giles got hot wing sauce all over his shirt, and everyone knows about Giles' legendary fastidiousness. So he took that shirt off only to expose his lucky teal undershirt, which is what he was photographed in.
  17. Traditionally, he runs a very, very fast version of a traditional spread offense. Think something like those late 2000s-era Sam Bradford OU teams under Kevin Wilson, before they got back to running the air raid under Riley. As far as spread concepts go, his attack is very vanilla, but it's super fast, and they obviously rep the hell out of it, so they execute the things they do at a very high level. He's basically like if you took Northwestern and snapped the ball every 8 seconds. With that said, given the loss of starters across the board and the huge amounts of defensive attrition his team has seen, I have some big time suspicions that he'll try to run that same style Year 1 at WVU. I think he's way more likely to try to do something similar to the modern Northwestern model of slowing the game down to keep their defense fresh and win the game that way. Frankly, it's similar to what we were forced to do in 2017 and at times last year. I am not convinced Brown's scheme/style is a sufficient competitive advantage to make WVU fearsome. While it may work at Troy against LSU, when you catch that team sleepwalking, it's just not particularly difficult for high level D1 teams to be prepared to play defense against a team that throws a lot of vanilla stuff at you really quickly. And even if it is, I'm not convinced he'll be given the time while there to develop his team sufficiently to fully implement his scheme/style, and they'll do a full reset back to some kind of super innovative offense.
  18. Just because I disagreed with him doesn't mean I agree with you.
  19. Baylor is not air raid anymore. They run a very similar offense to Texas and Iowa State. Oklahoma State is also not air raid (and hasn't been for several years). They're a very specific Gundy offense that is way more balanced and interested in forcing defenses to try so hard to stop the run that they give up long bombs. They just hired a power-spread coordinator from Princeton, too. So they'll likely get more traditional instead of less traditional. So the only teams running true air raid now are ou and TCU, although Yost at Tech has some sprinkling of air raid from his couple of years with Leach.
  20. Ro Simon This week has been more of a Roshambo, if you ask me.
  21. Let's put him at Rover, but rename the Rover position "Free Safety." Everyone wins.
