Oooh. I've never seen any mock-ups or diagrams of this. That's going to look fucking slick.
Agreed. They are going to need to bring the rest of the west side up to the new standard.

Bullshit. I have an accounting degree from Bama (and an MBA) The Journal of Accountancy consistently ranks (or did..haven't checked in awhile)
our program in the top ten. A guy I shared classes went on to be the top man at Price Waterhouse. Several friends went to Harvard and Yale from Bama for law or graduate business. Bama also heavily recruited Jews from the Northeast back when the Ivy League schools discriminated against them. Tons of them came to school there.Bless you heart

I mean, they couldn't get orange lights? That would seem like a more natural choice.
You know how hard it is to get right color orange?

Show me the letter/email.
It smells fishy. This would be the longest notice an employer has ever given their employees. Unless they're teamsters and Bill Bufalino is their attorney, there's no need to provide notice this far in advance.
Plus, won’t they need all those employees to run the SECW network?
It’s not really going away as much as being reassigned. -

You’re also assuming the Big12 keeps its P5 status in the CFP and Sugar Bowl which is not a sure thing. The SEC won’t sign up for that joint Sugar bowl arrangement again. I assume they’ll switch it over from the Big12#1 to the ACC#1.
Alternatively, in the current CFP, it might make perfect sense for the SEC to sign the Sugar Bowl deal with the B12-2-2+2-2. The SEC is focusing on CFP slots. The won’t mind sending their #2 or #3 to slaughter the B12 champ in the Sugar Bowl. It may very well help stabilize that conference a little, but it allows the haves to get paid $70m and the have nots can get their $14m.
We will have to wait and see how the 12 team playoff affects the bowl contracts. I guess the Sugar Bowl becomes a playoff game so it’s moot.

Clearly, goal post alignment talk not going away

IDK if the football itself is shitty, but the atmosphere at most Pac games lacks a big game vibe. A half-empty Coliseum and Rose Bowl detracts from the on-field product. FOX marketing and hype pales in comparison to ESPN, too.
The B1G still feels "big time" despite FOX's shortcomings bc their top brands usually play in full houses. Bottom line is Pac "fans" just don't care as much. Front-runners
PAC-12. It just means less.

Well well, Bowlsby may not be a total inept moron after all
It seems to me, his best bet is to stick with a scheduling alliance and try to sell the content to Fox or CBS while keeping the conferences separate and the big iix intact until Texas and blowu settle.
Regardless, SEC insiders are planning on our arrival next year, so let’s move on with all the extraneous conference realignment details and move on to gossiping about divisions and schedules.

Attempting to post anything on texags, tiger droppings or secrant is basically a total waste of time so why bother. It’s all nuts.
My question is there any school specific message boards worth posting on? If not the same at least similar to here? We all know why aggy boards are worthless but am hoping there are at least a couple sane school specific SEC boards and have in the past never had a reason to look for one.
For example Georgia grads seems a little less insane than the SEC as a whole (I admit this is based on a very small sample size). I know Vandy is more normal. Just curious.
Surly, there is no substitute.

Let's assume, for the moment, that the 8 stay together, Bowlsby settles down from his from his rager, and some calmer heads start talking things out for the conference in the coming days about possibly inviting other schools in.
What fucking school would want to join a conference led by Bowlsby after today?
Is it dickbutt?

It was quite literally rated the best a few times. PreCovid and over a decade ago. But I did like it back then.
MCI, formerly KCI was progressive years ago. Went through recently and they are really struggling with security requirements given their layout. The use terminal pods. (No pods thread)

Are you people still operating under the hope that the goalposts are going to line up? Didn't I disabuse you of that notion like 2 months ago?
We're supposed to get a walk through of the mostly completed SEZ in a couple weeks. I'll try to remember to take pics.Yes you did, but they looked so much better in the midline photo from the NEZ. The H was lined up so well I doubt any non Surly OCDs will notice or if they do it will look like like a problem with the angle of the camera.
As you tour the facilities will you be able to inquire or at least observe how the LHN is going to be used? Will we have a LHN lite studio? SECW Network? ESPN? Perhaps it will be the permanent location for College Game Day?
k thanks
