So you want to give up 20 to 100 years of tradition to see Oxford Mississippi?

Actually we’ve already seen it. Now we just want  to go back on the reg.
     See above

Maybe unpopular, but the majority of the Longhorns on SECRant talking shit are almost as cringeworthy as reading texags. They are not good at it and just comes across as lame.

But I also never really understood signing up for a non Texas or even conference type message board. If you are gonna do it, at least do it as a troll.

They should probably keep that keen intellectual banter back on Hornfans.

I have awakened from my slumber to bring you what I have gleaned from my sources inside WVU. Not much is being said at this time but I can confirm that Gee and Lyons have reached out to both the B10 and the ACC.

Ok state and WVU reached out together to the ACC and there appears to be interest there on their end.

B10 pretty much shut us down and the feeling here is that ISU and KU are the targets they would desire from our group (assuming they don’t attempt an ACC poach of UNC and UVA).

It does seem like little cliques are forming with the remaining 8 trying to abandon ship. The sad thing for most is that the Pac isn’t interested in expansion. At least that is what is being said now.

There is a very real chance that none of the 8 find a home and must back fill with others. The consensus amongst at least 4-5 of the ADs and Presidents seems to that adding 4 gives them the best chance to retain at least a good chunk of their current tv value

Of course some are saying that this is the first step in a total breakaway from the NCAA for at least the SEC and B1G

    So TLDR: it’s fluid

The first realignment thread post was made on 3/29/12 on the old shag. How do you realignment nerds feel about going nine years and not calling this move.

It was absolutely called, along with just about every other conference alignment permutation.

Surface looks to be completed the H isn't centered......But the color looks great. Also looks like they decided to go without the shadow texas.

Zoom in on the web cam.  You can see a faint highlight.

    So this:

Maybe they painted invisible ink for the shadow that will only show up with they cut the lights out for the intro

The biggest mistake these leagues make is doing this right after the main football season ends.  Do it in the late spring/early summer as an appetizer for the main course, and avoid markets that currently have NFL teams.

If you want 8 markets that will support this, you need football hungry places that don't have NFL teams:

OKC/Tulsa, Omaha, Des Moines, Columbus, Birmingham, San Antonio, Columbia SC, maybe Memphis

A minor league that insists on NFL markets and starting the week after the Super Bowl will be toast.

Unfortunately including BHM is the kiss of death for any alt league.

I don't understand why this has to be so complicated.  If the score is tied at the end of regulation, there is a coin flip to determine who gets first possession in OT.  No dillydallying over whether you want the ball, or play defense, or defer, etc.  You win the coin flip, you get the ball.  Kickoff and play as you would at the beginning of any other new quarter of play.  Each team gets at least one offensive possession.  If, after each team has had one offensive possession, the game is still tied, it becomes sudden death.  It's really not that difficult.

This is my thought exactly.  No 72-74, no disadvantage due to the coin flip, no innings.

    Score

    Kickoff

    Force turnover

    Profit
