Is that the little 335? I feel like someone mentioned having one of those, but I may be remembering some long ago discussion on a different board.
Yes. It's close to the 335, but it's less bulky.

I can't speak as intelligently on the THC debate, other than my continued view that our state leadership sucks donkey taint.
But I do have personal experience with synthetically produced narcotics, namely Delta 9 and most recently, Kratom. Not to hijack a thread with family trauma, but last year my stepson went into rehab after a Delta 9 addiction helped throw him off the rails his first year of college. My wife and I read up on synthetic Delta 9, which for some kids with ADHD (like him) and other related mental developmental disorders, it can really fuck up your brain wiring in a way that natural pot does not. And most recently, he relapsed with Kratom. And what's the similarity with the two? He was able to freely buy both in most convenience stores in town. While Kratom, like THC, is a naturally-occurring plant, its synthetic derivatives can produce symptoms and resulting addiction very similar to opioids. It's just bad bad shit, and reports of overdosing on Kratom are growing. While my stepson has some personal accountability in all this, I have growing anger over the fact that stores can legally peddle this crap to 18-year-olds.
So as much as Dan Patrick's THC crusade may have been yet another annoying waste of time our MAGA controlled state government, I'm increasingly in favor of laws to curb or ban over-the-counter sales of this synthetic bullshit.
tl;dr - Dan Patrick and Kratom can both get fucked.
I'm sorry to hear about your step-son's troubles. The only thing I'd ever heard about Kratom was that it was what people used to substitute for opioids. No bueno. As for synthetically produced THC, are you talking about things like K2 or Spice as opposed to hemp-derived THC? The former two were criminalized in this area years ago (long before the 2018 Hemp Bill). But in any event, whatever happens with the hemp industry, I hope they set age restrictions, which they have, albeit by executive order). That seems like a no-brainer.
As to your tl, dr: Yep.

I really want a p90 guitar. Damn you.
I had a gold-top Epiphone Casino several years ago that I just couldn't get along with. So I sold it. I felt like I'd really like the P90s in a solid body guitar. That Casino just played like a damned cigar box 90% of the time. The only time I really liked it was when I was playing it through a cranked Bassman. But everything sounds good through a cranked Bassman. So this is my return to the the P90 realm.

That’s a dope axe.
Whadda they whack you for on something like that?List is $1,799. While I was browsing, SW rep called and knocked off $150. The lowest price used I found was $1,200 plus $75 shipping. So I could have saved some $$ with some patience and haggling, but $40 per month is less than a family trip to Whataburger. I'll pay more than that and get it off the books quickly, but at 0%, I have a hard time turning down free money. Plus, I'll get a good setup and some candy out of the deal.
For comparison's sake, these were $1,200 new a few years ago. That's what I get for waiting.
Also, I had two to choose from. I went with 4 oz. heavier (8 lbs 14 oz) just to get the darker fret board. Priorities. My Les Paul Traditional weighs in at well over 10 lbs (doesn't feel that heavy when playing). So I ain't a scared.

I never had one of these.
We definitely had one of those 8-track players with the plunger on it. Really satisfying.

My parents had two of those monstrosities. A main one in the den and Dad had a monaural tube Magnavox that had a giant klipschorn type speaker. That latter one really sounded good.
My parents had one as well. Nine-and-a-half feet long and probably 400 lbs empty. Reloaded with McIntosh gear and a Dual 1245 in 1976. I couldn't help but rescue it from the estate sale when my mom moved out of her house. I restored/serviced everything including the McIntosh speakers. It sounds pretty incredible now.
Never had an 8-track deck. Middle section used to house a small Sony TV, but it's record storage now.

Forgive me Surly, for I have sinned. It has been seven years since my last guitar-purchase confession. I coveted a guitar I have lusted after for many years. I succumbed to to 0% financing and will pay $40 per month for a relatively short period of time. In penance, I shall perform 20 rock-god stances and 15 guitar faces ever day. I will light candles and incense. I will howl at the moon. Amen.

I'll have to think about the rest, but my first 8-track:
First Cassette: Quiet Riot's Metal Health
First CD: SRV Live Alive
First LP: Either the Flash Gordon Soundtrack, Chipmunk Punk, or J. Geils Band's Freeze Frame. There are a lot of movie soundtracks I probably had (and still have).
/and yes, I still have that 8-track. That's probably the second iteration since I wore the first one out.

Ah, yes. The "status pan (at 2:17 mark). That's the one. It's an absolutely fantastic pan. Totally nonstick when seasoned, heats up quickly, and releases that heat fast so you can do those 30 second omelets. My carbon steel omelet pans work well, but it's not a 30 second affair. Julia really liked Vollrath for omelet pans. Before I got the dedicated omelet pans, I used a Matfer-Bourgeat 10.25" carbon steel pan. I still use it as a part time egg pan for scrambles.
Also, the water addition is so clutch to a good French omelet. Really gives it some body.

Laid down our golden doodle today, he was 7. Cancer. Wrapped around his organs. F cancer. 300% my best dog ever.
I lost my first Golden to cancer at age 7 in 2001 and didn't have another dog for 12 years. I regret that, but I know how it hurts. I don't doubt the 300% your best dog ever. I miss every dog we have had and just love up the three we have now. I wish they were forever.

So what's everyone doing for omelet pans? My mom passed down to me, my sister, and my niece, each a cast aluminum "Julia-Child-type omelet pan (Pot Shop of Boston still manufactures them. They are absolutely fantastic. But alas, I now have induction and mine has become a decorative conversation piece. Last year, I picked up two DeBuyer omelet pans: the 9" and 11" models. They have been really great. I don't see a lot of other dedicated omelet pans, other than nonstick, and I'm happy with what I have, but I'm curious what others are using. Or are you all just boiling your eggs in a way that is foreign to me?

6 quart Lodge, 4 years old. used maybe ~30 times. I have no idea on the warranty since it was a gift
I'd definitely email Lodge. It has a limited, lifetime warranty. My eight year old Lodge developed a chip. I did provide a receipt, but other than that, all they asked for was a couple of pictures of the chip and a personal assurance that I had not misused it (they have a list for you to check off. They sent me a brand new Dutch Oven without further delay. Worth a shot. Their customer service is top notch.
I've got a small chip on the outside of the replacement. But that's on me because I didn't get the pot holder in the right spot on the lid and burned myself while dropping it from a height of about 3.5 feet. Amazing it didn't get damaged worse than that. I've learned to live with it.

went to clean my Dutch oven to make some gumbo tonight and ceramic started to flake off on the lid and along the rim of the pot. fuck.
Brand of Dutch oven? As long as you didn't do anything that obviously caused the problem (like drop it), you probably can get it replaced under warranty.

Well, it obviously takes her a long time for her to emerge from the fog of being drugged. We know this, because y'all are still married after all these years.
And that's fair and probably not the first time someone has considered that possibility.
But now all I can think of is sister in 16 Candles.

We went to my wife's follow up appointment, got the pathology reports. All clear, they got all of it out during surgery (not that there was much to take out). Also the lymph nodes were clear, nothing to see there. No chemo, no radiation. We will have a visit with the oncologist to discuss hormone therapy, but that will be after the reconstruction is done.
I want to feel relieved but I can't just yet, this whole thing happened so fast. I think I might be on edge for a while.
When my wife went through breast cancer, I will never forget when the surgeon came out and told me the lymph nodes were clear. I had been pretty rock steady throughout neoadjuvant chemotherapy and all that entails as a supportive spouse, but when I got that news, I felt like I needed to be mopped off the floor. Because that really is the big question.
Just a bit of advice, as part of the reconstruction process, she'll have drains. They tell you in the hospital to keep them clean, etc. But in the US, at least 10 years ago, they tend to leave the drains in for a while (and you get sent home with them). What they should tell you is you need to keep a sterile field around those things at all times. Reconstruction was a lengthy process with multiple infections, but we eventually got it done.
Working in your favor is that she didn't opt for immediate reconstruction, i.e., spacers immediately following the mastectomy, and she hadn't undergone chemo prior to surgery, which means her immune system is in much better shape than my wife's was. But don't sleep on those drains. You cannot have enough rubbing alcohol in residence based on our experience. Stock up. And all the best to you guys.
