Now they are pretty common and the rehab gets them back pretty close to 100 percent.

I could have sworn that after the Neyor injury someone posted a study on this that was far more depressing than I ever realized. Especially for rb and wr.

Are you thinking about a different one? Are you just hoping people forgot about the truth one that one?

956 is on my ignore list.  It would not matter what source I shared with that douchebag warmongering shitheel who loves zionist takes.

Fascinating. How many on your ignore lists would you label as zionists?

Butter’s in Sinton. Depending on your route, you could hit Burnt Bean in Seguin or Reese Bros in SA. I’m just some dipshit on the internet, but those three places are in my personal top 10.

Don't sell yourself short, Patricio. You're a tremendous dipshit on the internet.

interested in ideas to reduce plastic in other areas. One of our friends uses a business called a "refillery" that will refill common household items like detergent, dish soap, shampoo, etc into reusable containers. It seems like a great idea, but there isn't one in our city. Maybe Whole Foods does something similar? Central Market does not.

We do something similar in-house. Our housekeeper stores large, bulk versions of all of our preferred liquids and refills them periodically. It’s not nothing, but how much waste doesn’t that really conserve in the grand scheme? It’s certainly minuscule compared to the mountains of food containers that get tossed out by the carefree people that live in my house rent free.

It drives me mad when I see a second bin get grabbed by the garbage man and wheeled to the truck. I compare that to the retired couple across the street who put out a half filled blue recycling bag and almost no food waste. They are both retired Indian doctors. I know they grow a bunch of their own food and probably eat mostly vegetables. I almost never see the Amazon or ups trucks stop at their house either. While our front door is barraged by the delivery trucks daily with packages.

Those packages are emptied of whatever junk we just couldn’t live without. Then the waste is carried out and broken down by me to see if I can make it all fit into the green bin.
It’s a trash centipede from the truck, to the front door, to the back alley and then to the big blue truck. I have got to get them better about their ordering habits. It’s going to just be plastic containers, cardboard boxes and turtles all the way down.

Rice is a lot better than people give them credit for. Also Preston Stone got hurt and SMU was playing with a backup. Stone doesn't get hurt and SMU wins by 10-17 points.

To be fair, Rice played the entire second half with true freshman at QB who had thrown for a grand total of 7 yards in his career (an interesting number considering he threw for 8 yards the week prior).  SMU lost stone late in the 4th.

.....so uh, anyone ever spread down a layer of potato salad on the bread first, or am I just too crazy & fat? If the potato salad isn't too consistently big chunky, I'll throw down a layer, then piece of brisket, pickle, onion and sauce. I've never been into the pickled jalapeno + bbq sammy thing, but I'll consider trying that.

Yeah I do this but usually with sausage instead of brisket.

  9. We closed the doors a little after 8pm. My wife gave out 1250 pieces of candy, but a bunch of kids got doubles towards the end. I learned what the blue buckets mean, smart idea for those kids. Thankful for a Halloween that's not warm or raining.

The Rice numbers are pretty stunning to me along with GaTech. Wow. I have a nephew applying early to Rice today or yesterday and, even though he's a direct descent of 3 Rice alumni, has great scores and grades, I'd thought "you're a white kid from the middle class burbs of Houston, man, you have no chance." Maybe I was wrong.

Admission rates are getting tougher. His best shot is probably via transfer.

I don't know if it's over my head or I'm too sober.  But what is this vitriolic/CR-esque posting rhetoric sweeping over the football forum?  I mean, we all make grumpy posts when the team isn't playing well, but I don't get the parallels between that and cloak room posting?  What am I missing here?

Some people are still getting over the Astros losing to the Rangers.
