  2. A father at the POLL auction spent 20k for his kid's team to be the Longhorns. Then spent 5k+ for the Sooner and Aggie naming rights so that nobody could use them.

Agree that scheduling is absurd. We had a 6:30pm make up game on a Sunday night for 6u girls.

Sure. It's just that it makes for boring television. He feels like a completely wasted (literally and figuratively) character. What's the point?

Haven’t they had those before in this series? I think that entire family is flying home together in a montage with slow music playing and 1000 yard stares.

Since the thread was bumped… For those that might not know, Drake is the new owner of Dos Brisas and it’s his Texas home now.

It was a cool place. I have some great memories there as an adult. I get why it couldn’t survive the way they wanted. It really sucks that Drake owns it now. This location is only a couple of miles from my old beaten paths. I hope he doesn’t ruin it.

I had a 1x1 phone conversation with a billionaire a few years ago. I approached it super casual and non-chalant and spoke to him as a peer and equal-- even I was surprised by how cavalier I was.

But it was important to me that I do so for some reason. Just because this guy had a billion dollars didn't mean I had to worship him or revere him. I felt there was a personal battle there I had to fight or something.
