So I see this thread hasn't calmed down at all.
It's going to be a human centipede at least until this weekend , then hopefully something positive happens , and springs a new human centipede until Tuesday

If Bama, Texas, and UO end up as the 3 teams being considered, the committee can avoid the entire Texas/Bama controversy by taking them both. They can justify it by saying the win at Bama is better than UO splitting with UW.
they could have already done this , and i think they should have , i suppose they still could but at this point i won't believe it until i see it .
whatever they are smoking on oregon is some strong stuff- 1

Most likely. But it is also possible they recalibrate after the CG games. If Bama beats Georgia, Texas's win over Bama gains significance. If Oregon is ahead tonight I think we need to root like hell for Bama.
You're thinking logically like me , the committee isn't holden to such ideals

ESPN is the most SEC biased party out there and even their playoff predictor says it's basically a toss-up if Bama beats Georgia. Oh, and please stop the talk of a non-champ Georgia/tOSU getting in, the times something like that have happened in the past was a totally different situation where they got in over much less deserving champs compared to this year. I'm not saying it's zero chance since people are involved and you never know, but that's the least of our worries if FSU doesn't lose.
Here's the link to ESPN's predictor, you can quickly lay out any scenario based on this weekend. I'd debate the exact odds on a few of the scenarios, but all of them seem directionally reasonable. https://www.espn.com/espn/feature/story/_/page/cfbplayoffpredictor/cfb-playoff-predictor
Here's what the ESPN predictor says if Bama, Texas, Oregon, FSU, and Mich win -
I would love those odds of winning outright if we made it in , only bad news is Harbaugh definitely has Stallions eye on us knowing we're coming into town next year.
He'd dust that shit off from whatever safe its stored in

Can aggy even afford a marching band at this point?
Maybe they can cancel the milkmen ? They probably do that shit for free

People who are hitching their wagons to our h2h win over Bama will be severely disappointed when Bama gets in over us with a win over UGA. Fair or not, that's how it will go down.
I'd this happens I hope we get Georgia in the cotton bowl ,
If Bama wins out I'd be talking shit for the end of time

Media slobknobbers : we let in a texas team and they got hosed by Georgia just last year !

How would one calculate minutes spent trailing per season ?
I know I could painfully do this from ESPN but is there a site that has this handy per game or something?

They need to keep E-Rob and E-Stew. Wiggy is important, but now they have J-Hen. The real question is what will they do with D-Durk and B-Pet?

Hopefully premature but I swear if we win out and get kept out by fucking Oregon and Bama , it's time to pull the plug on marquee OOC .
As a fan I'd rather trade an early season marquee game for a cupcake to help raise chance at a home playoff game down the stretch
Shit will make no fucking sense

Hope they hire Traylor and leave A&M fighting for leftovers

The other thing about an interim is whether he has the process chops on hand to handle the needed improvements
-
I said a few days ago but if you're forcing a HC to keep most of the staff you are already down like 3 tiers of coaches.
This has already reached Tennesse Schiano levels of hilarity, and Aggy is trapped in a real prisoners dilemma.
The soup of variables are lack of cash, potentially exiting AD due to the stoops situation , wanting to keep E Rob to keep players, and pressing timeliness for clearly all of this up for signing day while coaches are coming off the board or being turned off from this shit show.
IMO best remaining move is to promote E Rob , and learn from this for the inevitable search 2 years from now .
What Aggy will likely do is hire a mid coach , maybe Traylor if he's getting itchy or gets bad advise, doesn't matter. E Rob still leaves because he feels jilted, taking some of the defensive staff and players they wanted to keep in the first place. And then whatever mid coach having to hire a mid defensive staff .

Florida, for a brief moment, Florida looked like they were going to dominate then they suddenly decided to finger their own butthole on national TV.
All went downhill after the Lyons spit all over them

You're looking at it the wrong way. Louisville was knocked out of the picture today. Next week they knock out FSU. The dominoes are falling.
I guess I didn't consider Louisville a threat but maybe that is naive

Louisville loses to a 6-5 Kentucky team , I have little confidence they'll handle FSU
What would make 2023 a success? (poll)

I already think it's a success compared to pre season expectations
My criteria for a great season are to win the big 12
For legendary season it's go to the playoffs
Bowl games are such a wash these days I expect a good chunk of our team not to play unless it's a playoff
