I don’t know what everything is running right now but just resigned this week at 8.8.    Dude has been solid and I missed the whole rate raise over the last year or whatever.  Wonder what this months bill will be between the ACs and pool running like crazy.

I would be amazed if they make the playoffs.  I said they should have canned Boone and Cashman at the end of last season.  I have wanted Cashman replaced since 2013.  Yankees should just embrace the evil empire vibe and hire Luhnow.

I think this is one of the sharpest dress watches I’ve ever seen.

Beautiful Watch but I would not call it a dress watch.

The best men’s dress watches are lowkey, subtle timepieces that exude class and sophistication. Generally speaking, dress watches are meant to fly under the radar. They’re there to show you the time at a quick glance and nothing else, as it’s typically considered rude to be fiddling with a chronograph or GMT bezel during a posh event. A dress watch is typically worn on a high-quality black hide like alligator leather.R.0f74838d8f786b4b521a825ea7061a8f?rik=WZ7%2fh%2fiSfpsVqA&riu=http%3a%2f%2fstatic2.worldtempus.com%2fcache%2fproduct%2fb%2fu%2fbucherer-all-blue-jaeger-lecoultre-master-ultra-thin-date-or-rose_crop_w1600_h1600_217x318.jpg&ehk=Cu2dWvttcWCeooV3BtY3PnxF7m%2fxJEHl8gGsrFIVAOE%3d&risl=&pid=ImgRaw&r=0OIP.WAcHKvbQy-o1L3V9C7RNLQHaMG?pid=ImgDet&w=520&h=850&rs=1blob?bcid=rG9xdyH82NYFDQblob?bcid=rDiYz6W.RNYFPA

There is no way you can't convince me that #88 wasn't actually 37 years old and playing college football.

Looks like Jaws from the 70's Bond movies

    Dave Logan

    Player[edit]

Dave Logan was an All-State football player at Wheat Ridge High School. While in high school, he won The Denver Post's Gold Helmet Award. An award for the state's top senior football player, scholar and citizen.[2] Out of high school, Logan was drafted by the Cincinnati Reds in the 19th round as a pitcher/infielder.[3]

Logan instead chose to attend the University of Colorado where he lettered in both basketball and football. In 1974, he was selected by Playboy as a Pre-season All-American. In 1975, he was selected by The Sporting News as an All-American.[3] In 1976, he was drafted by the NBA's Kansas City Kings in the ninth round (143rd overall pick) and by the Cleveland Browns in the third round.

Logan played for the Cleveland Browns (1976–83) and the Denver Broncos (1984). As a Cleveland Brown, Logan ranked among the top 5 in "virtually every receiving category in the franchise record books."[4]

In addition to winning the Gold Helmet Award, in 1972, Logan was also the first winner of the Fred Steinmark High School Athlete of the Year Award, given to a high school athlete who exhibits excellence in athletics, academics and citizenship.

Oklahoma State football retroactively awarded 1945 national title | Local Sports | stwnewspress.com

The AFCA asked schools who felt they had a legitimate bid for the title to submit their reasons why so that their committee could hear the case and decide.[7] In 2016 Oklahoma A&M was awarded the 1945 national championship.[8] Oklahoma State was the only school publicly announced to apply for the honor for any of the 28 years considered,[9] and was awarded the AFCA trophy. The AFCA committee stated that Army could also be recognized as co-champion for 1945 "if the school decides to submit paperwork to the AFCA for evaluation by the committee.

I was never quite sure whether the epithet "Fightin' Texas aggy Band" referred "Fightin'" to the Band or to aggys in general.

Since it was not far from my house to the Rice Stadium, I saw several football games there, and at one of the Rice-a&M games, the aggy  band taunted the MOB with a chant of "What comes out of a Chinaman's ass? Rice! Rice! Rice!" to which the MOB replied "What comes out of a horse's ass? Little! Brown! aggys!" Not particularly clever, but apropos.

And the color brown is the only part that offended aggy

I’ve taken a liking to the idea of donating my body to science when I croak.

    Anyone looked into this?

Do they cremate you later or what?

I guess they don’t embalm you, so no stinky corpse in a box for the after party?

Ive always hoped for a weekend at Bernie’s situation.

    Thoughts?

    • Frank Reynolds : [overheard by children and their parents on a mic system]  I got a question about you morticians. You bang the dead bodies? I imagine stuff like that goes on all the time. I mean, I don't give a shit. If I was dead you could bang me all you want. I mean, who cares? A dead body is like a piece of trash. I mean, shove as much shit in there as you want. Fill me up with cream, make a stew out of my ass. What's the big deal? Bang me, eat me, grind me up into little pieces, throw me in the river. Who gives a shit? You're dead, you're dead! Oh shit! Is my mic on?

The best driving song ever is Skynyrd's cover of J.J. Cale's "Call Me The Breeze," and anyone who disagrees is not only wrong but deserves every single bad thing that could possibly happen to them.

Just found this thread and was amazed that nobody had posted this.
