  1. His draft stock has probably plummeted after the last two games. It won't surprise me if he comes back and starts somewhere else.
  2. He is not going to start over Arch if he comes back. He will have to go somewhere else.
  3. I was told Quinn ALWAYS shows up in big games and was flamed for saying he didn't throw catchable passes in the Washington game last year to win the game when we had the ball last. We have some dumb fans who are either blind or let their fandom cloud their judgment. Ewers is a very limited QB who needs a lot of things to go his way to play well. Now it appears that he has lost all confidence in his ability to throw long balls. Last year he missed hitting Worthy on many occasions, and we thought Worthy wasn't trying hard enough. I think Quinn just doesn't have a good touch on his long balls and passes into the end zone. He is so scared to throw picks is that he would rather throw uncatchable passes. I don't know if we can win a championship with that mindset.
  4. There is zero chance Sark pulls Quinn unless he gets injured, so let's hope he starts playing better.
  5. Ewers is playing scared and scared teams don't win games.
  6. They threw two picks and lead 7-0. Who would have thought?
  7. He had 4 chances to throw a TD from 12 yards out. He didn't throw a single catchable pass. Can you imagine VY in that situation not scoring? He played well enough all game to win but the elite QBs win at the crunch time.
  8. Was the playoff game against Washington not a big game? How many chances did he have to get us the W in the end? Yes, Quinn has played well in most big games but it's not a guarantee. Let's see which Quinn shows up tomorrow.
  9. Quinn looked "better" later in the game mostly because he was throwing check downs, sometimes way too late when the coverage already caught up. We don't know if Arch would have fared worse against OU, but I think he would have hit the wide open receivers and would have run for first downs instead of hitting the checkdowns late. Look, I love the baller Quinn when he is on, but he also has those WTF games where he doesn't recover throughout the game so the coach has to adjust the gameplan. His inconsistency is frustrating to me given that he was #1 QB in his class and is in his 3rd year in the system. Arch's progression has been a lot faster imo, which makes me think he will be much better than Quinn by his last year at Texas.
  10. Arch took just one game to fix most of his mistakes and Quinn is still making some of the same mistakes he made in his freshman year. I can't wait to see Arch lead us next year.
  11. I don't get the jihad mentality against anyone pointing out that Quinn didn't have a great game. Whatever the reasons were, his passes were sailing and one of his errand passes got Bond injured. We were lucky that OU was unable to capitalize on them. If we played a better offense, we would have a lot more heartburn. I hope this game helps Quinn get back in form because I would hate to see him playing like this next week and keep us from reaching our full potential this season.
  12. Do not give up a TD!
  13. Last year's Quinn with the red zone issues are back.
  14. Bolden and Hill are co-MVPs of this game.
  15. I think Blue plays better as the RB2.
  16. All his long balls are overthrown, mostly uncatchable.
  17. This better not be another wasted drive!
  18. We are up so big that perhaps the coach puts one of our backups in ... maybe "save" Quinn for UGA?
  19. How many TDs is Quinn going to cost us in this game?
  20. Wingo is unreal. Love that dude.
  21. I love Wisner. He is fast and decisive.
  22. Benching Quinn would destroy his draft stock. Sark might be mindful of that. Having a QB drafted in the 1st round is good for the program.
  23. True but he has looked shaky on the few he has kicked this year. I thought he was a lot more reliable last year.
  24. Bert has regressed a lot since last year.
