If that's the best they have got, Fitz' attorney is going to have a field day unless NW has incredibly favorable 'for cause' language in their contract. This would have been like Texas announcing a 2 week suspension of Beard AFTER doing an investigation only to get media blowback and fire him 48 hours later. It's amateur hour by Northwestern when a massive contract is at stake.
People were sexually assaulted in his locker room. Repeatedly. Even if the only provable thing is that it occurred and happened under his watch with nothing being done to identify or stop it, that is enough to fire a college coach. It might be amateur hour as far as public opinion, but they have plenty to fire him over.

WVU wouldn't be here if they fired him for cause with the slur that started this thread.

Lol wtf. It’s one thing to debate whether Sabonis intentionally grabbed Green, but saying it’s all on Sabonis is insane. Even if Sabonis intentionally grabbed him, the stomp was clearly intentional and a massive overreaction that deserved a suspension regardless.
Agree; people get grabbed all the time in NBA basketball. Very few players kick and stomp people.

What if… and believe me this.is.a.hy.po.thetical….. what if Rodney Terry takes over this team and wins it all… would that do anything for you at all?
Nope, most of us already jumped off a bridge in despair.

Luck didn't do anything
Payton Manning was the Colts and they didn't take the chance on him after neck surgery. He went and won a superb owl with the Broncos.
Please do not edit this.
Note: I would prefer to be the only QB that has won a superb owl vs one of so many that have won super bowls

And an even more idiotic idea emerges! There's a very real possibility that we might have all three of our historic rivals on the schedule every season, while at the same time playing in the conference that ESPN has brainwashed America's youth into believing is the best football conference in the history of the universe. Quit looking for ways to fuck that up.
You seem to have misunderstood. I was hoping for a way out of the Big 12 sooner vs later.

If the Big12 were to merge with the Pac12 (as opposed to adding a few members), that seems like the sorta thing that could release Texas from their anchor to this clownshow conference. Particularly, I'm thinking adding Cal and Stanford so some egos and lawyers get involved and a new conference name is selected and new bylaws get written.
Am I just dreaming?

hmm, so today is going to end with nobody at all committing? Can that be correct?
-
Kennedy was safe. I hope we keep this same "end this damn game" energy for the bottom of the ninth.
-
Agree, keep this strike zone super big Blue.
-
5,000 drunk fans screaming for a strike every overhand pitch by a Pirate has widened up the strike zone.
-
I know it might be againt the rules of the game or whatever, but we should be stealing on this guy. Also, what are they gonna do about it anyway?
-
If anyone is in the area, if you enroll online at ECU and have ncaa eligibility left, you could get in to pitch vs Texas...I'm pretty sure.

Only Aggie can turn having the top recruiting class in the Nation into a situation needing a crisis management firm. Did they really think they could flip the script so much and people wouldn't complain? Imagine if Texas reacted this way to Aggie's complaints about the LHN. Oh, you got called a cheater? Act like you belong where you are trying to get A&M (for once)!
How hard would it have been for Jimbo to prepare for these questions starting from when they decided to money whip the 2022 recruiting class?

Some perfectly normal basketball fan behavior is going to happen tonight, right?

I mean it's worth a shot. Los Angeles fucking sucks as a sports town but there are a lot of rich people that want to be seen when all eyes are on LA. Championship games are an opportunity to make that happen.
Oh shit, I thought those were also VIP section seats. Hahaha.
I don't understand what they are, they look like general admission.

Stafford has played great so, this is not on him.
What, if he is just bad luck and it is all his fault regardless of how he personally plays?

Rams should just punt this to prevent themselves from turning it over.

I'm skeptical too, but isn't this saying they are holding their happy secret until Pac12 media days which starts in 10 days? That isn't so laughable. If they do have something to share, that seems like the time to do it. If they did just get an offer or news they like, why would they say it today when they have a party planned next week?
