Pulled the trigger on 2 this morning, Section MM row 3 from seat geek. Just got a text from Alabama ticket office reminding me to download tkts. The Bama ticket office directs to Seat geek. This tells me it's not a sell out and may be the reason tkt prices are dropping due to the number of tkts the athletic office have available on seat geek. Just FYI, if you wait til gameday to purchase, I would try the stadium ticket office..there is a good chance you'll find face value tickets there!

Are we going to be sitting next to each other??

We will likely have a Surly Horns welcome party somewhere - haven't decided where, but it will be hostile with the bar management so we can't do it in any official capacity outside of a bartab. Had the same issue in Fayettville but it worked out for us.

Had a fantastic time pre-game in Fayetteville :)

Same question as the guy above.. I bought my tickets on Gametime about a month ago and they still have not transferred to me. Should I be concerned?

usually when i bought from seat geek.. the tickets were transferred to me that wed or thurs before the game.  I bought arkansas game tix a couple years ago in May.. and i didn't receive them til that thursday of gameweek.  Don't panic

i was eyeing those last week.. did they dip below $500?

** I got my tix off tickpick.. and they transferred my 3 tickets within the hour of me paying for them.. then i transferred them to my wallet

I can't understand why they don't just quietly put the embrace the hate tees back online. Seems like it would be a gold mine after the initial faux outrage

my brother told me it was going to be just a one time release and talking to everyone around him, they too think it's so dumb.  They have never heard that slogan linked to any racism

My brother in Austin is getting up early to get in line by 7am at the Guadalupe location.. If I miss size 13 online, I'll just have him pick up a pair for me

Nike has them on their app as well.

Yeah I just ordered a pair online just now.. he's in line.. but people are there for the embrace the hate tees.  He's also getting a few for me and my buddies who will be going to Tuscaloosa with me.

I'm thinking of canceling my order that i put in if they have my size available while he's there.. I have a feeling they won't be delivered in time.  My brother can go to UPS and send them to me when he leaves the store.

Someone needs to tell the Co-op and Nike that adult sneakerheads have to work at 9am! Release that shit at midnight. I've got a damn conference call with Alberta and New Delhi in the middle of the launch. Got Damn It.

We are in 268D (They fucked us out of 275D)

We need to get the keg there in the morning. Tailgating starts at 8AM, they let us in to set up at 7AM. Breakfast Tacos at 8-9AM or whenever we get started on them until we are done cooking them.

We will have their provided TV + another TV that we will bring so 2 TV's with all the games playing all day until kick.

So far for the tailgate we will bring enough for:

100 breakfast tacos (bacon, egg, cheese, beans only toppings and flour tortillas)

~35lbs of @RGBIII special marinated beef fajitas + veggies (chicken will not be an option)

Sides will be whatever bullshit chips/queso/guac/whatever we can find in large enough quantities in Tuscaloosa on Friday evening. If someone wants to bring fresh avocados or bring an awesome big tub/bowl of guac that would be killer.

We will have a full 6 foot wooden bar - there will be no bartender, but if you want to volunteer to bartend for a bit feel free.

1 full keg of Modelo, 1 pony keg of a local Kolsch, 5 cases of lonestar, 5 cases of another Texas beer, 3 cases of seltzer,

2 * 1L each of tequila, whiskey, vodka - with coke + diet, sprite, ginger, club soda, water, lime juice and Gatorade

2 Bottles of assorted white wines, 1 bottle of rose, 2 bottles of red, 3 bottles of bubbles + some juices for mixers

I need you to provide michelada mix too sir :)

I just pulled the trigger on my tix.. Lower level MM, row 3.. see y'all in a couple weeks

The word is that they think they have multiple draft picks in the backfield, ultimately. They're happy to play Brooks, Robinson and even Blue. The issue, which is a good one, is that Baxter needs to be on the field, early. He apparently doesn't have any reason to be on the bench unless he's gassed.

You mention Gibbs and it's an excellent point to bring up. Gibbs is a stud. Bama normally has true studs at TB. They have two freshmen who might eventually fit that bill, maybe. Great reviews on both early from a friend of mine, but that person is the most reliable narrator when it comes to what they're seeing inside the stadium at practices. McClellan and Miller are damned good ballplayers.

That considered, none of those guys are viewed as being viable run and pass threats on par with the likes of Gibbs, Najee Harris, or Damien Harris, and none of these guys appear to be Henry, Yeldon, Lacy, or Drake (pre-injury) level of excellent. Maybe they get there, but none of them will require special prep by game 2 of 2023.

I think Haynes is going to be one of the better backs they've had.. heard he's banged up though

@Thiefery thoughts on Kibble and 25' Dickinson OL, Thomas?

kibble is a really big kid.. but he didn't look as good as Thomas, run blocking.  As far as pass blocking Kibble did really well while Thomas not so well, but Thomas also has a weak LG lined up next to him... early in the season so there was communication issues.  The OL as a whole for Atascocita is much better than the DL Dickinson has.
